Sebasco stay Oct 14Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: The scenery and rooms with a view.
Cons: The lighting in the pub makes you feel like you're eating in a school dining room. More flexibility to the indoor games area.
Location: We did some walking, had nine holes of golf and took the 1 1/2 hour boat trip which was well worth it and drove into Bath.
The rooms were pleasant and had great views. The heating in our room didn't work and wasn't able to be fixed. We were given some fans but I felt a discount would have been more appropriate. The two dining options are pretty good. Mike who runs them was excellent and really on the ball. There was extensive breakfast buffet which was very good value and we ordered a sandwich for lunch that came with all the trimmings which we shared between three of us. In terms of location I thought there would be more near by so were ready to set off after a couple of nights. We were hoping to play table tennis as the weather wasn't a bit overcast and although it was the last weekend of the season there was little flexibility on the access to the indoor games area which was disappointing.

Beautiful viewsPosted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: We liked the views, the patio, and the Resturant.
Cons: Clean up the grounds so it looks loved.
Location: The walk to Seawell Beach wax beautiful..it's a four mile loop and worth it's! The Maritime Museum in Bath was wonderful..take the trolly tour.
At one time this hotel/resort must have been awesome. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of some TLC. Overgrown flower beds, crumbling concrete, and other signs of age detract from the possibilities. Breakfast at the lodge was wonderful. Food was delicious and served by friendly staff.

Quite getawayPosted Sep 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Walk to restaurant and pub. Both served great food and great service. Golf coarse and lawn games available as well as boat trips for sight seeing.

Lovely PlacePosted Sep 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was a real treat! Lovely place, old world, great views. It reminded us of the coast of Sweden. It is a bit off the beaten path but then that is part of the charm.

Hotel mit dem Charme der 50er Jahre!Posted Aug 27, 2014
Das Hotel liegt abseits, in the woods, und versprüht den Charme der 50er Jahre. Gleichwohl ist es top gepflegt und man bemüht sich sehr darum, die Gäste zu unterhalten. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit!

Beautiful view from our room in the lighthouse!!!Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It wice to be able to walk to the restaurants and activities.
Cons: I would have liked a balcony to sit on and fully enjoy the breeze etc.
Upon arrival I thought the room was a little bit small. I loved the Queen Anne chairs, we turned them to face the water. We had our morning coffee facing the sunrise, very nice way to relax and begin the day! We were only here for a short time but walked the property and relaxed by the pool, ate outdoors while watching the sunset...just what we needed!!! Would like to come back with the grandchildren, you offer easy and fun activities for all!

A Little Pricey, But a Nice GetawayPosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I thought it was a little pricey for what we got, but I guess the location and time of year dictates that. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. It was more kid-friendly than expected, but perhaps I didn't do enough research beforehand. There are a lot of options for activities - kayaking, sailing, etc. - if you're willing to pay extra. And the pool could have used more chairs. But it was an enjoyable getaway for a few days.

Family VacationPosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was very relaxed and low key. All of the staff were very friendly. there is nothing really going on around Sebasco so either you stay at the "resort" or drive long distances to explore. The resort was clean and suited our purpose of needing somewhere to sleep while visiting friends in the area.

Beautiful Maine HarborPosted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Sebasco Resort has it all! Love the salt water pool, the light house rooms have an amazing view of the ocean. Tons of activities- hikes, boat trips. Awesome ice cream. Yoga, spa tennis and golf. Very welcoming staff. Highly recommend . 21/2 hrs from Boston. There are many choices of lodging there depending on your needs. Cottages, hotel , light house rooms, captains quarters( modern). Can't wait to go back. Very clean! Great get away!

Outstanding VacationPosted Aug 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in room 2 of the lighthouse for 3 nights. It has an outstanding view of the dock and bay. The service was outstanding while at the resort from the time that we checked in until we left. Everyone that we encountered was extremely helpful and nice. The room was a little aged, but the experience overshadowed that. The lounge on the top floor of the lighthouse was an oasis to enjoy the views of the bay. Plenty of activities to entertain the whole family. Dining at the resort was a little pricey for every meal for the whole family. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, I would recommend bringing some food for lunch and breakfast and then enjoying the Pilot House for dinner. Lighthouse rooms do not have A/C. We stayed during the first week of August and it was comfortable the whole time except late afternoon when our room got hot for about 2 hours. The breeze was blowing from the other side of the lighthouse, so I would assume that rooms on that side might have stayed cooler. Our family had a great time and would love to return some day.
