Lovely spacious roomPosted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Beautifully spacious room. Very helpful staff. Loved the big balcony.
Cons: Room was quite dusty the first day. WiFi was iffy at times but the IT guy did everything he could to improve it.
Diamond Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were friendly and as helpful as possible. It is ideally situated if you like markets with the Central Market behind the hotel. The tuktuks can take you everywhere for very reasonable rates and with commentaries on places if you require.

Spacious room size, good value for moneyPosted Mar 31, 2015 on Hotels
Cambodia is a very poor country and taking this into account hotel standards cannot be compared to those at home. However this hotel provided a safe, clean and fairly comfortable place to stay while exploring the city. A Vietnamese breakfast was included and the staff were helpful. There is a nearby shopping complex with western style resturants and a good supermarket for those times you need to cool down or have a change of scenery from the hussle and bussle of the streets.

Posted Dec 15, 2014 on Hotels

Good location, average hotelPosted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Location, spacious room and bathroom, free fast wifi
Cons: stop flies from settling on the food at breakfast buffet
The room was huge and there was a large balcony too but everything looked a bit old. First impression on entering the room was that it smelt really weird with a sickly sweet smell. Probably some kind of air freshener they used. Wifi was free and very fast. Staff were polite and friendly but when I called to request an additional pillow and a hair dryer to be sent to my room, the front desk said ok but no-one came, had to call an hour later and remind them. Bathroom is huge but the shower is mounted oddly making it difficult to use. Breakfast was not very good but at least there is an egg station. I did see flies on the bread and some other food that was uncovered. Location is very central, just minutes walk from the Central Market and Sorya Mall. Plenty of Chinese restaurants nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Sisowath Quay area where the night market is.

Clean HotelPosted Nov 21, 2014 on Hotels
Overall was good . The hotel was clean. However, the location was far from the river side and the Royal Palace, where you needed to take a tuk tuk. The pillow was too high, so you could not sleep well, the hotel did not have any choice or help you

Posted Oct 24, 2014
10월 21일 check in, 22일 check out일정으로 미리 expdia를 통해 Deluxe room 2개를 예약 및 결재하였으나 check in시 front desk에서 자기들이 통보받은 내용은 Deluxe room 1개만 예약 및 결재되어 있다고 하여 Expedia에 연락하여 재확인하는 절차를 거치게 되었음.

Super liebes PersonalPosted Oct 3, 2014
