Good hotel but overall impression spoilt by liftsPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Staff service was friendly and helpful
Cons: Lift maintenance
Location: Excellent riverside restaurants not far away.
Good hotel but overall impression marred by the fact that neither lift in the main lobby was working. Had to use service lift or service stairs and both were a bit grubby. Hotel does not have its own swimming pool but nearby Raffles Hotel pool is superb and can be used on purchase of a Raffles day pass at a cost of 25 USD - worth every penny! Would not recommend walking down to the river at night from the hotel unless you go in a party of 4 or more, as parts of the route are poorly lit and pavements in very poor state.

Great hotel with reliable facilitiesPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: All round reliability
Location: A bit far away from the tourists stuff- but that was a plus for me
Working for a week in pPhnomPenh. Everything works reliably, even when there are powere blackouts in the city during thunderstorms. Staff gracios and anticipated every need

Excellent hotel in a dinamic cityPosted Jul 18, 2013
This hotel has a great service, breakfast very plenty and delicious, location very convenient and walking distance for several places of interest. The rooms are very clean, the front desk and concierges are very helpfull in all inquiries. The rates are reasonable considered the services offered. I would recommend to my friends and book again in the future.

Good business hotel near U.S. embassyPosted Jun 19, 2013
Pros: Comfortable sheets and good breakfast
Cons: High lunch and dinner prices at restaurant
Location: It's in a quiet part of town, near the U.S. embassy and Raffles Hotel Royal. It's about a 5 minute ride to the popular but noisy riverside.
At first, the front desk couldn't find my reservation. 15 minutes later, alas, it appeared. Things got better after that. My room was nice, and the cotton sheets were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I paid for a room with a balcony, which was big. The room size included the spacious balcony. But many TV stations came in grainy. The breakfast spread was tasty and had enough choices. The hotel has a business center offering free internet for guests.

Don't understand the poor guest rating for this hotel. Superb location opposite US embassy and next to Wat Phnom. It is officially a 4 star property so why do people expect 5 star everything !
