A view to die for.

Amazing staff and super friendly. They helped with every question we had. The bed was amazing. I only wish the pillow was firm. But that's minor!

Great hotel with everything we needed.

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Hotel has helpful staff and nice pool with nearby workout room and coin laundry.
Cons: Would be nice if they offered limited breakfast: rolls, cereal, fruit.
Location: Located close to Scottsdale, downtown, and Route 101. Close to Butterfly museum. Nearby restaurant named Temptations offers great breakfast/lunch.
Nice rooms - small but well designed and laid out with everything we needed: microwave, frig, great shower. We will definitely stay here again.

No elevator.

Arrived late and ended up with the last room which was upstairs. It was quite a challenge for my 80 year old mom.

Great value

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The staff was very well trained in the today's world where customer service is hard to find.
Location: Located on the south end of Scottsdale, close to the 101 and 202 freeway, you can access most to the Phoenix area from this location.
We were in Phoenix for a sporting event. This is a traditional change type motel in design, but has been updated with exterior and interior design changes to make it more appealing.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
The hotel was fine, and across the street from a park, which was nice for walking and birding - I saw green and blue herons, as well as snowy white egrets. A/C worked well, and it was convenient for where I needed to be.

Pros: Décor, location, friendly and helpful staff, good price.
Cons: Some easier way to get large, heavy luggage to second floor. Only way now is the stairs and they are open stairs with a pebble surface.
Very good experience. We only stayed one night, but everything was very nice. Only problem was the difficulty of getting our luggage up the stairs. There is no elevator and the stairs are open stairs with a pebble surface.

What a great value!!!!

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: I loved the value (of course) and the "cozy" aspect of it. It wasn't more than what was needed, and the décor was fantastic!
Cons: The tub and sink were slow to drain, only decaf in the room. Went to the lobby to get regular coffee, they had none, and none was delivered to room.
Location: Great location, just off the freeway. TONS of restaurants close, very close to the Botanical Gardens. Across the street from a small lake. Pretty!
From the moment we walked in, it was a great hotel! Great looking cozy lobby, nice grounds, lake across the street! The staff was pleasant, the room was incredibly cozy! Nice tv with dvd player and surround sound! Good variety of pillows, which is always important in a hotel! The pool was open til midnight and was BIG and perfect with kids. I wish we could have had a later checkout, but the room we were in was being put out of order, so it wasn't available. We are "locals" and just needed a day away. This hotel was perfect for that. Fantastic value!!!! One downside was no breakfast (I don't suggest the Denny's next door unless you have an hour to wait for food...) There are other options, though. We can't wait to stay again!
