I love this hotel! We've been staying here for 15 years now whenever we visit Phoenix. There is no where else in the Valley like it.

The hotel grounds are lovely!Posted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: It is a hotel with sprawling grounds which is ideal for groups. Not a boutique hotel.
Location: Wrigley Mansion should not be missed!
The staff are friendly and helpful. The interior could use some sprucing up. This is the only hotel I have stayed at for many years that has not provided a robe in the room for guests to use. Also, the hot water fluctuated from warm to cool while showering. This is not my idea of luxury. They need to look at the Ritz and other high end hotels that they are competing with in order to stay on par. I do not know if we will stay there again.

Very relaxing settingPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Peaceful atmosphere. Away from the noise and hurried world around.
Cons: Would love an ice cream cone or milk shake!
Location: Enjoyed staying on the grounds. There is plenty of shopping near by.
We totally enjoyed our all to short stay. The Frank Lloyd Wright building and influence is so very interesting and beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and marveling at the buildings and grounds The staff was friendly and anxious to answer our questions The bed was extremely comfortable and hard to leave. Rooms and grounds were well cleaned and cared for. Though we have family near by, we are anxious to treat ourselves to another stay soon.

We read previous reviews about the resort and/or rooms being a little run down. We, however, found our accommodations to be just perfect. We stayed in the Ocatilla building, where we found the staff to be very helpful, the food and drinks delicious, the rooms spacious and tastefully decorated, and the bedding luxurious. The grounds of the resort were beautiful, and a few meals we had at the restaurants on property were superb.

Historic hotel--loved being there!Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: The large property, its history, elegance, and amenities.
Cons: The main building could use some soundproofing and also new windows if it were possible to install them without compromising the architectural style.
When I'd learned that we'd be vacationing in the Phoenix area, there were only two hotels on my list-- the Biltmore or the Phoenician. We were able to book a room at the Biltmore for a reasonable price and decided to stay there. I am a Frank Lloyd Wright fan so I knew in advance that I'd be thrilled with the architecture. The hotel is historic, with reminders throughout of its celebrated past clientele when it was the most elegant hotel in town. On check-in we were given choice of a room in the main building or a different location, and we immediately opted for the main building given its history and recent renovation. Our top-floor room was luxurious and huge, with a view of Camelback and the gorgeous hotel property. However, I would caution guests who are not as interested in the vintage appeal to consider whether a newer, quieter location would be more to their liking, as our room was situated directly above the outdoor café where guests lingered for conversation through the night, and the original casement windows did little to soundproof the room. Similarly, we did hear loud laughter and conversation from our noisy neighbors, which surprised me given the sturdy construction of the building. Apart from those inconveniences, the hotel is simply delightful, with a choice of beautiful swimming pools and great restaurants. It is ideally situated and we found the staff to be wonderfully accommodating!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property. I am so glad you enjoyed the storied history of our beautiful resort! I apologize that it was a bit loud in your guestroom, but glad you were still able to enjoy yourselves. Please come back and see us again! Warm regards David Kirken, General Manager

2 Night StayPosted Sep 24, 2013
Location: The Adobe Golf course was great for those of our party who played it.
This hotel is going through a significant update. Unfortunately we were initially put into one of the old rooms which was dirty with broken and damaged furniture, and decoration. After one night we were moved into one of the updated rooms which was absolutely what we would expect of such a hotel

A charming vintage Arizona experiencePosted Sep 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Arizona Biltmore is a one-of-a-kind Arizona experience, one the chains just cannot duplicate. The Wright-inspired décor is soothing and restful, and that ambience carries throughout the property.
