Great staff!

Cons: the carpets in the room
the front desk clerk Terrance was great he was actually able to put us in a room after Expedia messed up my reservation and refused to give me my money back or put me in another hotel. We made reservations through expedia and i was promissed an early check in the hotel since we were arriving at 7:00am well once we got there they let us know that our reservation was made for us to check in at 3:00pm meaning we would of had to drive around looking for another hotel. well expedia gave me the run around and did nothing to help us. it was Terrance the front desk clerk that helped us and even got us into a room.

Nice updated hotel. Beautiful rooms.

Very friendly and helpful breakfast staff. Nicely updated rooms. Breakfast was good. Excellent value. On a fairly busy road and there is a railway line somewhere nearby which I heard a couple of times only. Good location for visiting many spots in Phoenix. I will go there again.

One night in April 2014

Room had working area. Internet connected automatically without having to find and agree to "terms and conditions". Locked myself without key and wallet; front desk staff remembered me and replaced key without any fuss.

Family friendly

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Cons: Request a room away from the main road. Right across street from busy railroad and highway.
Nice, clean, older hotel. Suite was perfect arrangement for our family. Close to pre-season baseball facilities and easy access to major roads in Phoenix area.

convenient for Spring Training games

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Stayed three nights in March with my grandson to see Spring Training games. Good location. Had a newly remodeled room on ground floor. Will at the front desk was very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was great. Others discussed a nearby train and it can be heard at night once or twice. But wouldn't deter me from staying here again. Very good value for the money.

Nice but LOUD

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Closeness to areas I was visiting
Cons: Do not sell rooms that are next to US 60.
Location: Near Spring Training sites in Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Maryvale, and Goodyear. Also, near Arizona Cardinals football field in Glendale.
Hotel is easy to find right on US 60. It is a bit dated but the rooms are good. The only major problem is the noise that comes from US 60 + the train that runs along side the road. If you book here do not check in until you make sure you get a room away from the road/train. Actually, the train is not the REAL problem, its the traffic on US 60 that goes non stop all day and all night. Pool was heated but water needed a bit of attention.

Decent, clean hotel.

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Accessibility to area. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Big rooms.
Cons: Minor repairs...knob on closet kept falling off, carpet stained.
Location: Close to Surprise ballpark, shopping malls, restaurants. Easy to get to from freeways.
This was a good place to stay for our visit to Spring Training. Close enough to 3-4 ballparks, and easily accessible. Room was clean and lots of space ( we had a suite). A little run down, in need of carpet cleaning and minor repair, but didn't interfere with our enjoyment of our trip. The pool was small, but clean. Breakfast was well stocked, and nice staff.

Renovation Needed

Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The lobby and pool was in good shape. Staff was helpful.
Cons: The room we were assigned needs to be renovated and should not be rented out in the condition it is in.
Location: The location was close to Grand Avenue. Shopping is nearby but a car is necessary to enjoy the area.
Room was extremely disappointing. Carpet extremely worn with several stains throughout the room. We even had a few Dead bugs in corner of seating area. Curtains were worn with wrinkles. We were in a room facing Grand Avenue it was very noisy with traffic and the train. I will never stay at this hotel again. If you plan on staying at this hotel request a renovated room and not facing Grand Avenue.
