Ideal location for what we want to do in Phoenix.Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: I can't think of anything I do not like about this Best Western Inn and Suites.
Cons: I can't think of anything that needs to be improved.
Location: We find the location ideal for our travels to visit relatives. Also, for dining and shopping.
We have stayed many times at this location. The staff is very courteous and professional. From check in to check out is very pleasant. The breakfast is a treat to look forward to each morning. The facility is clean and has outstanding street appeal. All the employees are willing to assist you in your requests. Calvin Quick has a staff that is second to none. He is very interested in your welfare while staying there.

Close to 51 freeway.Posted Oct 11, 2014
Good beds. Updated rooms. Close access to the 51 freeway. Make sure not to get a room near the office and outside deck. Too noisy late in to the evening.

Disappointing stayPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: The location was good. The staff was nice, if not terribly helpful.
Cons: Cleanliness, fixing the door in the room, updating their computers.
There were four of us traveling together and we shared two rooms. In both rooms the carpets were dirty and in one room the bathroom door did not close. We were told that we could divide up the cost when we checked out in the morning, but when we went to do so, were told that the charges had already been placed on two cards. Two of the four computers were down in the business nook. The breakfast was disappointing and the area was not terribly clean. We were told there had been bacon or sausage on previous days, but none was available when we were there.

No Non-Smoking RoomsPosted Sep 23, 2014
Cons: All the fabrics in the rooms need to be replaced.
Location: Not much to eat except the Hilton up the street.
During the course of my four night stay I changed rooms three times due to the extreme smell of cigarette smoke in each room. The smell was so strong that even my clothes smelled like cigarettes. While the rooms were marked outside as non-smoking, there were no non-smoking signs inside. Again three different rooms,e all of which stank like cigarettes. If you don't mind the sweet smell of cigarette smoke this hotel is great for you.

Room was pleasantly decorated and beds were comfy. Jetted tub was nice after a long drive. Pool was very nice and clean. Staff is friendly and informative. Area is right off the highway exit and easy to get to restaurants and stores.

Front desk staff is terrible but facilities are okPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: If the staff says they will call back then they should especially after I tell them I have called 4 times over the past week.
I checked in about midnight and had to do that through a bullet proof window so I was apprehensive about the neighborhood right off. After entering my room I had to call the front desk to ask if I was in a smoking room because it wreaked of cigarette smoke. It was a nonsmoking room so I ask them to note that I called so no one would think that I was smoking in the room. Other than that everything else (ie bed, pillows, and bathroom) was okay. The next morning I checked out but left my laptop power supply in the room. I have called 4 times over the past week and each time the front desk has said they would check with housekeeping and call me back. I have yet to have a return call.

Close to expressway and mountain hikesPosted Sep 12, 2014
Stayed one night with adult relative. Reserved online without payment until day of check-in. Located right off Highway 51. Upgraded to double queen beds for $6 more but lost the suite in doing this. Room had standard features such as coffee and refrigerator. Spacious enough for 2. Noisy air conditioning unit which is standard, too. Full breakfast with rainforest coffee and disposable dishes. Adequate sized dining room. We were not present for late afternoon complimentary drinks. Easy check-in and out.
