First use of Expedia and it's a "home run"Posted Feb 25, 2014

Cons: See above
Location: Equally close to Old Town Scottsdale and Fashion Square. Visit Julio's Mexican across the street and then a yogurt store around the block.
A half an hour from Phoenix International and easily accessible from major thoroughfares, this "Miniature Resort" is two blocks from Old Town Scottsdale and a city block Fashion Square. Wonderful front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff. Large room, great mattress, new linens/towels and great soaking tub (used the "wind chimes" setting on the radio). Great parking, lovely hearted pool with waterfall and cabana with hot tub. Why in the world pay more when this site produces this level of hotel at a wickedly affordable price.

Nice room well pricedPosted Jan 3, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and mordern fell architecture
Location: clubs, restaurants and shopping
This hotel was great and so was the staff. We stayed for New years eve and they did not gouge us on I the price, it was very reasonable for the room we had. Close to clubs, we were able to walk across the street to them which saved us from driving on New years a big plus in my book. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone

5 star service. Best Western for good reason.Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Free Wi-fi Free Breakfast No Bogus hotel fee And the staff are professional and helpful
Cons: While I was there they were installing new a/c units. It looks like they are always improving
Location: Night Life! wow, as well as if you like to shop, Scottsdale Fashion Square is a short walk away.
From the exterior the Best Western Plus Sundial is exceptional by design. Once you experience the check in process and encounter any of the staff you will know why they are so popular. The rooms are clean, Free breakfast was good, Outdoor pool refreshing, and overall my experience was very positive. Frankly I'd pay more for this hotel.

Nice hotel close to Scottsdale nightlifePosted Jun 17, 2013
Everything about the hotel was nice. The location was perfect to walk to many Scottsdale clubs and also within walking distance to a mall. The room and facilities were clean and maintained nicely. Breakfast was included and was adequate. The only thing that wasn't good was that the juices served (apple and orange) were both spoiled the two days we stayed there.

Great hotel and location.Posted Mar 18, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff and location.
Cons: Breakfast could be a little more varied, but it was good.
Location: Nice location. Close to friendly sports bars, Old Town, and upscale shopping and good eats!
Hotel was exceptional and reasonably priced! Mark at reception was so helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful and the entire hotel, room, pool area and common areas were all very clean and modern. Was in great area for local bars, restaurants and shopping or just taking a stroll. Would recommend to anyone and will stay here again on next trip to Cubs Spring Training Camp. Was first to to this area and was very pleased.

Great place for a mini-vacation!Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Bed is very comfortable.
Cons: Sink is outside of bathroom.
Location: Perfect location for restuarants & shopping.
Hotel room is nicely appointed and clean--the bed is extremely comfortable. Enjoyed Starbucks coffee in our room in the morning. We opted to eat out for breakfast so cannot comment on the free breakfast served. Staff is friendly and very accomodating. We were booked into a room with two double beds via on-line reservations. We asked to be switched to a room with a king bed and our request was taken care of without extra cost. The hotel is located in a perfect location for restuarants & shopping. The Scottsdale Fashion Square is a block away. Old Town Scottsdale is a 10 minute walk from hotel.

Close to Fashion Mall and Old TownPosted Oct 17, 2012
Pros: location and it's a new hotel, clean.
Location: near old town scottsdale and fashion mall
I was placed in the handicap accessible room, I guess that must have been the room for the last minute deal. The staff was pleasant at check in. Parking is a little weird. I drove around trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot, you have to enter from a side street. The room was nice and comfortable. I was not too excited about the shower since it was meant for a wheelchair and the water went all over the bathroom floor. Other than that, the room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great.

Not impressedPosted Oct 28, 2009
If you like to have a covering on your shower - don't stay here. There was not door or curtain only a small glass panel over part of the opening.. There wasn't a tub contain the water - only a small ledge to step over - so when showering water flooded the bathroom, running under the door into the sink area. The desk person told me the hotel was only 7 months old and they were working on fixing the problem - seems to me that is an easy fix and shouldn't take 7 months. Also when checking out they tried to charge me extra taxes and I refused to pay, because I had a paid in full at booking receipt, the owner was very rude telling me to get out, instead of trying to work out the problem. Believe me I won't be staying here again.

Great Place...Posted Oct 15, 2009
Nice hotel in a good area of town, close to Old Scottsdale. Nothing extravagant but, new with mod/quiet type rooms. Super king-size bed in our room. Friendly staff too. Great deal for the money. The only thing missing is a restaurant/bar which, isn't a big deal as there are enough nearby.

Great Summer DealPosted Jul 31, 2009 on Hotels.com
The Best Western Sundial is brand new and the decor very modern. Loved that is was clean and new, bedding was high-end and yummy! Close to great restaurants. Felt, though, that use of the word "resort" doesn't fit as they offer no amenities.
