“Ho Hum”

First day, the bathroom smelled like sewer gas. I called down to the front desk, and after the room was cleaned the next day, the smell had disappeared. Not sure if the bathroom was unclean or what the deal was. The usual problems also with dirty carpet (not unusual these days) but at least the bed linens were clean. Some of the towels were stained, not sure if they should have been pulled from inventory or just rebleached. Overall, I would stay there again if I had to because it's convenient to my journey. Decent restaurants around the area, as well as other shopping.

“We were happy with the Inn and services”

The Inn was very quiet, provided breakfasts, was clean, friendly staff, and was reasonable on their rates. We would stay again.

Area recommendations

Visit Mt. Lemon in Tucson; visit Sedona, it's very interesting; and by all means visit the Grand Canyon, we took the train from Williams which was very interesting, they provided bad train robbers to entertain us on the trip!

When to go

We went the end of Oct. which was very pleasant weather. We flew from Houston area to and from, then drove by rented car to Williams and returned back to Phoenix area.

“Country Inn 05/2011”

I have stayed at Country Inn, Scottsdale, AZ many times over the last few years and have always enjoyed my stay thoroughly, with the most recent time being 5 days during May 2011. Perhaps the only exception was during my previous stay, in March 2011, when the Inn was jam packed with kids and teens due to a softball tourniment that was going on near by -- in this case the Inn was unusually noisy with doors slamming and running in the halls at all hours of the evening, night, and morning. The staff is always great to work with and the staff remains consistent over the years, which I believe speaks volumes about the quality of the Inn.

“Nice hotel - good amenities - good hot breakfast.”

This hotel is in a good location if you have business in the North Scottsdale area otherwise it can be a 10 minute drive into Scottsdale and 20-25 minute into downtown even though the hotel is located right off the 101. The hot breakfast is simple yet tasty and there is a decent sized pool area. Free onsite parking is a bonus and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I had business in the Scottsdale area.

“Very Good Value!”

We were impressed with almost everything. Everyone who worked there was courteous, polite and helpful. The pool was great, our room was huge. The location was very good - easy to get to from the airport, and with good shopping right across the street. The place was clean and well kept. Only two complaints - even tho' the stated closing time for the (free) breakfast was 9:30 a.m. and we arrived before 9:25 - by their clock - they were out of eggs and the lady in charge (who, for identification purposes only, later told me she was from Bosnia) declined to make any another batch, so we were out of luck. Not Good. The only other thing was there was no ice machine in the designated area on our floor. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay. Since we were there to watch the Giants for ST and enjoyed Old Town Scottsdale, we might stay closer to that area, but I'm sure would pay a lot more $.

“Spring Training Hotel - Close to the action”

The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The rooms are not big but everything that was indicated in the photo's. Breakfast was a plus. Overall, the experience was very positive.

“Great location, nice staff”

We were impressed with the quality of the motel. We were in the midst of a real estate transaction and the motel staff was helpful in providing fax and e-mail service. And I liked the cookies provided at the front desk. And the clean laundry facilities and the pool and hot tub.
