Close to my rental property

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, convenient
Cons: no complaints
Location: suburban neighborhood location..... close to all my needs
Enjoyable breakfast and nice people. Rooms clean, beds comfortable and nice and quiet even though there was a nice crowd at breakfast. Lots of ice for my cooler. Clean and soft towels. Really liked the shampoo, conditioner and soap provided.... I didn't even use what I brought from home.

Could use some updating

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: It was convenient to the freeway and had a number of restaurants you could walk to.
Cons: Clean the carpets in rooms; put some shelves in the bathroom to put things on; and put at least one nice picture on the wall. Very gloomy.
Location: Right near 101, a mall and several restaurants including Red Robin. We ate twice at Mimi's Cafe/Bistro which is a short walk and had nice dinners.
The hotel is older and could use some updating of the carpets and bathrooms. Having a picture on the wall would have been nice. Our carpet was torn by the door and there was some ground in gum in the table. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it was very quiet for sleeping, except for the A/C unit that would come on with a loud bang every 15 minutes or so. There was a tiny little shelf above the sink that help about 5 toiletry items, and there was no shelf or counter anywhere in the bathroom to put anything else. Just simply a couple of shelves on the empty wall would have sufficed to accomodate basic toiletry items. I did not have the breakfast as i was fasting for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic, but my husband said the breakfast was good. There is a shuttle bus to take you around which seemed convenient, but we never used it as we had our car. The TV worked well, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. I think if you are just staying a couple of nights it would be just fine, but for longer stays you might feel very cramped.

Excellent Hotel in a nice area

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Beautiful lobby and large clean room.
Location: Very quiet area. Casino 10 minutes away. Excellent restaurants nearby. Roadwork on the 101 made it a little harder to get around
Looking for a nice getaway with comfort and this hotel fit the bill very well.

This hotel never disappoints me

Posted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have always stayed here whenever I travel to Scottsdale on business. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The internet speed is good, and connectivity is never a problem. The hot breakfast is very good, with lots of choices (eggs, cereal, pancakes, fruits, juices, yogurt, bread, donuts, biscuits and gravy, etc.). The quality of showerheads in the bathrooms is a little spotty, with some rooms having low pressure problems. Otherwise, this is a great place that I recommend with no reservations.

Front desk wasn't sharp enough

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The free breakfast and pool.
My family (8 & 6 yr old, my wife & I) had booked a double queen room. When we saw the room it seemed a bit smaller than it appeared on the photos. I went to the front desk and asked if there was an upgrade we could pay for. There was and it was a whopping $5 tax extra. This would have been an easy upsale in an otherwise empty hotel (due to the summer heat in Phoenix) and would have made for much happier guests knowing that the hotel was thinking about us and not what was on the computer screen. Other than that it was perfectly fine, including the free breakfast.
