Excellent for the rate!Posted Dec 9, 2013
Pros: Breakfast(Real food slight changes each day), Bed (King), Outdoor Salt Water Pool/spa(button for bubbles behind the potted plant.), in room appliances
Cons: The doors to the outdoor pool were hard to open from the outside.
Location: Plenty of hiking trails towards fountain hills, I hear the golf courses are nice, but also Sedona is not too far away, try Ken's Creekside medium $$
Breakfast was changed up a little each day and had a great selection of decent food, not top dollar but sometimes had fresh fruit etc. Salt water pool and hot tubs were great temperature and kid and family friendly. Maids were super with cleaning up and we didn't notice any dirtiness. Bath/shower are not luxurious but plenty of water pressure and worked well. It also was nice having the mini fridge and microwave even though we didn't use them during our stay (we've needed them staying other places). General feel of hotel is warm and inviting. Staff were helpful and polite.

We used to like this hotelPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: This hotel has a great location and seems well laid out inside for convenience.
Cons: Update decor, more staff at busy times, refurbish, refurbish, refurbish. We stayed at an adjacent hotel the prior weekend (same price) -- very nice.
Location: Adjacent to the 101 with lots of shopping and eating places.
Although it is well located, the service and condition of this hotel has deteriorated. The place is very tired and needs refurbishing, particularly the rooms. The place might have been quite clean, but when the decor is tired, it can be deceiving. Beds were confortable, however. The breakfast area also needs work. Although we were there on a busy holiday weekend, we saw only one guy doing all of the work. Need to add another waffle maker, too, because this feature was really backed up. Also, no labels on the coffee (regular or decaf), ran out of spoons, and they were out of things to eat.

Clean and comfortable , great location too.Posted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and the coffee was really good.
Cons: It was good.
Location: Right off the 101 and Shea Blvd. Easy walk to food drink and groceries. The best Hiking and biking .The desert and mountains are unreal. Bring a camera
First time to Arizona for my wife and I. It was a great experience. Went mountain biking at Mcdowell regional park , dinner at Olive and Ivy downtown Scottsdale, Car show at Westworld , visited friends in Chandler, There are a ton of things to do in Scottsdale area. Probably the cleanest city Ive been too.Country Inn and suites is a nice place to stay .The location was great . Right off the 101. The room was nice and clean and they offer a free breakfast . Went in the hot tub a couple of times too. Nice way to end the day for me. Also there are restraunts within walking distance of the hotel. Even a Portillo's across the way. That was a bonus for me. Love that place. (native Chicagoan) .Live in Northern Minnesnowda now. The weatherman in Phoenix called for a cold front to move in. Said hi's only in the 70's expected ( ha ha ha). It ended up pushing 80. I was told if it gets below 90 degrees in Pheonix ,that most people dont were shorts. What a great trip, I got an alergy prob (eyes watery) on the way to the airport. I didnt want to leave yet. I think I could be a snow bird there for a while.

Very comfortable environment.Posted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Could use some updating, but is still very comfortable because they keep it clean. Could be some improvement on their window covering on front.
Location: Good. Two restaurants across the parking lot and easy freeway access.
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area that has easy access to freeway, restaurants (walking distance) and a very comfortable safe feeling environment. Pleasant outdoor area with great spa, but unheated pool. Felt good in the cool snap Phoenix was experiencing -- along with much needed rain. Bountiful breakfast and pleasant front desk help. An older establishment that could use some refurbishing, but we were very pleased with our stay and when the occasion arises we will choose this facility.

Great pool and rooms comfortable...but....Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Great location and friendly staff!
Cons: Breakfast is usually good, but this time around was poor.
Location: Near shopping, restaurants, and the 101 freeway!
We have stayed here many times. During our last visit we got an upgrade and the room was very large and clean. The pool is very nice and even have a bar-b-que grill. We did have an issue on Saturday morning in the breakfast area. They sent the attendant on a shuttle run and there was absolutely nothing to eat at 8:30 am. Everything was empty from the eggs to the oatmeal. Even in the lobby, they were out of coffee and creamer. When I reported it to the front desk, they brought in someone to fill up the plates, but it took another 1/2 hour to restock all of the food. Frustrating if you are on a schedule. The other biggest downfall for me is the exercise facilities. They do have two exercise bikes and 1 treadmill. The bikes don't allow you to select a workout program and there are no instructions posted. So, if someone is on the only treadmill, you have to wait. It would be better to remove and add another treadmill instead. Otherwise, this is a great facility, centrally located, with reasonable rates for the Phoenix area.
