Comfortable enough.

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful and caring staff. Willing to solve problems.
Cons: The carpeting in our room wasn't very clean.
Location: Clsoe to many restuaranst, walking distance from campus and downtown Tempe. Very good location.
We needed a reasonbly priced, comfortable stay for 3 nights and this fit the bill. It's not super luxury, but adequate for a short stay. Nice pool area. Food at Bistro was a bit expensive. One huge point in their favor was that they comp'ed our breakfasts due to our room smelling like smoke, despite being a non-smoking room.

Thank you for letting others know about our great location in Tempe. Spring Training is an exciting time in our city with so many stadiums and lots of fans in town to see their teams play. From major sports teams, golf tournaments and car auctions to art galaries and museums, there is much for our guests to enjoy in Arizona!

Great location Rooms need a little revamping.

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Location to airport and Mill Avenue
Cons: Not bleaching bathroom towels so much. They smelled like musty bleach. Get quieter A/C units. So loud!!
Location: Lots of dining and bar options. Close to airport (15 mins).
The location of this hotel is literally a block or so from tons of restaurants. We choose this hotel for its proximity to Mill Avenue so we could attend the Tempe Art Festival on our last day in AZ. Great location for that. My initial impression of the hotel once I walked in was that it had a nice feel in the lobby and also offered a nice place to eat and grab a drink or cocktail/beer in the Bistro. Their breakfast was surprisingly not bad at all and they offer Starbucks beverages. We took a dip in the pool which didn't look too bad until we got in. There was SO much chlorine in there!! Our room was nice and clean but I'm not a fan of bathrooms where the sink/vanity area is separate from the shower/toilet area. I'd rather have a door so I don't wake my family up while I'm getting ready early in the AM. The bed was a little too soft for our liking and my goodness! The in-room A/C unit was like having a jet engine in our room, even when the A/C was off and only the fan ran. The bathroom towels smelled like musty bleach! This really should be looked at. I felt clean when I got out of the shower but not after using those towels. My whole family agreed. I hate to say this because she was really nice, but I'm not sure this location cares about perception because the lady up at the front desk had no front teeth! When dealing with the public, you should look professional. Again, she was VERY nice, but I couldn't help but to stare at her mouth. Not a bad stay... for one night.

Great location - close to entertainment area

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Main street with many, many bars and restaurants
Unfortunately we only had one night here as Tempe is certainly a rocking place! Hotel was fine for the price - very close to the main street (5 mins walk).

Great location

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: The staff is very pleasant, helpful. There is free wi-fi in the room, and boarding passes can be generated in the lobby. The location rocks.
Cons: I would like a quieter bathroom fan and heating/a-c unit.
Location: Ash is one block from the main downtown street with good restaurants. Try the House of Tricks for a special occasion.
If you have ever stayed in a Courtyard, you know what to expect. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is great. This one has a wonderful location. It is in the heart of the downtown; easy walking to ASU and great restaurants. (Try House of Tricks; too yummy.) The only drawback to this Courtyard is the external noise. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Two long freight trains roll by in the middle of the night. An emergency facility is near by and sirens can be heard a few times during the night. The windows are double paned, so the noises are not a deal breaker.

Like Courtyards across the country, we have comfortable beds and guest rooms for our guests. Our teams are well trained to provide caring and professional service as well. Our location is such a plus for guests wanting easy access to Tempe, ASU and local businesses. We suggest light sleepers request a quiet room so we can do our best to minimize outside noise.

Pros: We really enjoyed ourselves and will be returning the next time we are in Tempe.
Location: Great Location in Tempe to food, drinks, and ASU. Shopping is very close.
It was a very nice weekend stay at the Courtyard. From how we were treated by Stephanie when we arrived to the great service from Indi at checkout. The breakfasts were awesome and well worth the $$. The ground are well maintained! We will go back when we are in the area!!!
