Business oriented hotel

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: Very clean, staff was friendly.
Cons: If you were having/going to meetings this would be a great place.
Location: Quite close to the airport so handy for departure. Only one restaurant in walking distance and no stores etc.
We were on vacation, visiting friends and this is obviously a "business oriented" hotel so not the best fit. We were not in the room much so worked out fine but would have appreciated another "easy" type chair so one of us didn't have to sit on the bed to watch TV. Pool area was very nice, also liked the fire pit area.

Well done

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Little pricey for an overnight stay.
Location: Close to Desert Botanical Gardens and the airport.
The hotel was very clean and easily accessed as we were driving in from Flagstaff. The restaurant served a fabulous omelette in the morning with Starbucks coffee. We were able to walk across to a nearby restaurant. And we were very close to the airport as well as the Desert Botanical Garden. First time to Phoenix and we enjoyed our stay. We had access to a printer and computer for boarding passes.

Less than 10 minutes from airport

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Decor, staff, location,
Cons: Beds were soft but caved toward center of bed. CFL lamps need to be replaced with LEDs . Bumped my head on towel rack . Poor location.
Location: Light Rail station is across the street, museum close by.
Staff very friendly but really busy. Called 4 times to request the shuttle. Hotel decor was very nice. New key cards give an extra measure of security. Quiet room. Arrived at 11:45 pm.

Nice quiet hotel close access to the light rail.

Pros: I liked the more affordable extra snacks at the front desk and that my room did not have a mini bar. instead we had a clean empty mini fridge.
Cons: the towels always seemed a bit damp when delivered as if the dryer didn't get them completely dry.
Location: Hiking "A" and Camelback mountain, which w. Mill Street shopping and restaurants. I ate at My Big Fat Greek Restaurant and the gyros were delicious.
I was in town for a conference. this was a good location for access to the light rail for transportation but the light rail didn't have a scheduled stop in front of the conference center I was attending. So I instead ended up walking the twenty minute walk for exercise as long as it was day light. I felt safetly after dark was an issue since the bus system was not as on time as I would have liked but the light rail system did take me to a nice shopping and eating location called Mill Street. The staff was patient and helpful with my slightly demanding and inquisitive roommate. And they probably answered 101 questions she asked that ended up being very helpful considering our sense of adventure. We found great local hiking mountains that we only had to pay for a cab after dark due to feeling uncomfortable in a strange place. Beautiful mountains to gaze upon from our room window. Quiet hallways. And friendly bar tenders. The hotel restaurant prices were reasonable and the food was surprisingly very good. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very efficient with polite drivers.

Close to light rail

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Food
Location: I take the light rail to downtown Phoenix to go to the opera.
Very pleasant. Like being close to the light rail. I can go to either Phoenix, Tempe, or Mesa so there is lots to do and eat.
