“not at all like the picture”
Room was small and unwelcoming
“Not so bad”
the hotel was run down but not horrible. The hot tub had cold water but it was clean.
“fine for the money”
Pros: The room was clean with a mini fridge and microwave. It was quiet even though it was near the freeway. The location was great for the purposes of our trip and the neighborhood was nice. The cleaning staff was friendly also. Cons: The air conditioner was pretty loud and woke us up in the middle of the night. The pool was freezing, which is fine in November (though we were really looking forward to pool time), but the spa pool was also cold! No good! The security doors didn't really lock and the lock on the pool area was broken.
“Might make us brand loyal to Days Inn”
While the hotel room was clearly dated, the room was clean and the staff at the front office was efficient and polite. They accommodated our crazy schedule and were available 24/7 which was great. The neighborhood around the hotel felt safe and was 10 minutes from a pretty big shopping plaza that had every store we could need. This was our second good experience with Days Inn. We might just look for a Days Inn the next time we travel.
“I will come back to this hotel”
Our stay was very nice. It is close to resteraunts and not far from the BMX track.
“Clean, basic place”
Reasonably priced, with a Waffle House restaurant right out front. Rather sparse, but adequate continental breakfast. Mattresses were newer so really comfortable. Place needs a bit more maintenance, though.
“excellent for our stay and has a 24 hour Waffle House in the parking lot”
We were in Phoenix 7 days for a Family reunion, and wanted a good home base so as not to put extra burden on our hosts. The motel was clean, well maintained, all the staff was personable and helpful. Very good value . The housekeepers were very quiet and inconspicuous, and made the room whether we left at 7AM or 2PM. Having a Waffle House in the parking lot was a plus, as we could get something to eat anytime. There was also an Italian restaurant across the street, and a Cracker Barrel 2 blocks away. Very convenient to I-17 and 101 (the LOOP). Negatives; Our keycards stopped working twice during the stay, but both the housekeepers and management were attentive and got this corrected in minutes. Towels were a bit rough (could have used a little fabric softener)
“Not alot going on...”
The hotel staff did not speak English after the first day. My shower head was broken when I got there and did not get fixed after I told the staff, One of them even asked me if I had broken it ! the hotel was clean Inside but the outside was a mess the grounds were run down and shabby and one security door did not even work.. I would not stop here again...
“Days Inn North Phoenix”
Hotel was nice and clean. Room had a microwave and fridge in it that was not advertised (awesome bonus!!). Breakfast was good too.
“Great value for the money”
The super duper surprise hotel rate gave me a choice that was close to my destination at about half of what I would have otherwise paid.
