“Next time we are in Scottsdale we will use this facility”

Hotel staff were the most helpful I have encountered for quite some time. The facility was clean and in a great location in Scottsdale

“Won't go Back”

I chose the hotel for its location to Fashion Square. It is excellent for that purpose only! It ran out of hot water. The heater did not work properly, it would not warm the room. The electronic lock ran out of battery and had to break the security chain on the other door to enter the room. Breakfast was typical. The hotel staff were courteous and professional.

Area recommendations

Scottsdale is a great neighborhood.

“Scottsdale Days Inn”

Handy for a local conference, not much more. Beds were hard, AC didn't work well, some lights in the hallways were burned out.

“Great location, mediocre wireless”

The only negative for a business traveler was inconsistent internet, which made working more difficult. The location and access to old town was wonderful and made my stay enjoyable.

“Would definitely stay there again!”

The hotel was at a great location. Close to freeways, Old town scottsdale & the mall. We liked being on the ground level, because the second floor rooms did not have balconys. We would definitely stay there again!

“This is our "go to" place”

This hotel is perfect for us. Not too big, oldie but goodie. Right next to the mall and close to where we have meetings and classes. Pool is great. Never had a problem with service. Employees are very friendly. I love it!

“Not the best.....”

The price was right, which led us to book this hotel. Unfortunately, we should have spent the extra money to upgrade to a better hotel. The staff was friendly, the location was super, and the small free breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Our biggest complaints: For the first day or two the room had an overwhelming "air freshener" smell to it. This dissappeared and the room smelled like mold the rest of our stay. Our second biggest complaint was the large unused outdoor bar. We were on vacation and would have liked to take advantage of the bar. We were told by the staff that the bartender was off on Sunday. To our displeasure, the bar was closed our entire stay, the entire week. A real downer.

“OK NEEDS BETTER BEDS MY WIFE COMPLAINED ABOUT BITES”

OK NOT GREAT VERY FRIENDLY STAFF EXCEPT FOR THE LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER AT THE BREAKFAST SATURDAY MORNING SHE WAS IN A BAD MOOD AND NOT VERY HELPFUL I DON'T THINK SHE IS A MORNING PERSON!!

“Too pricey but very convient”

I loved the location compared to where you want to go in Old Town. I just thought it was pricey for a very cheap looking hotel and room. The beds were not very comfortable but for one night I had no problem. The service wasn't bad but they were not overwhelmingly friendly either. They did call us a cab which I really appreciated so that is great!
