This place is a condo not a hotel. Like having your own condo while there. Nice and quiet. Good hiking trails right behind the condo's. Pool small but nice. We loved the space this place provided. We had a 2 bedroom. Master on one side -queen quest room on the other side. Nice to be able to spead out and have some space. Just need to bring clothes and food. We loved this place and would stay here again.

Great location and spacious units!Posted Jun 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Condos were being remodeled. We stayed in one of the remodeled units. Spacious, clean, and the pool was nice too! Would recommend this resort! Also close to shopping and dining.

Peaceful, quiet and wonderful views.Posted May 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
The area the hotel is in is a bit unique. Right in the middle of a number of office buildings. However, the views are wonderful and the peace and quiet is awesome. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to everything. The units are roomy and have everything you may need. Be aware...there is no daily maid service. So unless you intend to pay extra for it, make sure to bring your toiletry essentials. The furniture in the unit is well worn and the place could definitely use updating. My only negative is that the linens on the beds are awful. they do not use fitted sheets and I understand a lot of hotels do not, but at least other hotels have bottom sheets that ACTUALLY cover and tuck under the mattress. Those at Desert Arroyo do not. So you find yourself directly on the mattress if you turn over during the night...and that is not a wonderful thought since the matresses are in need of replacing.

Cons: Pool rules
Kitchen could have been furnished a little better. Cooking pans and bowls were few and quality was low

Great for the price!Posted May 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
After reading other reviews, I was a little worried about what we were going to get, but I booked it anyway because it was the only place I could find with 3 bedrooms. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there that the room was pretty good. It was clean (enough) and comfortable. My only complaints were that the a/c was off when we arrived and it took a few hours for the place to cool down and the master bath (grout) needed to be bleached. But, you get what you pay for. The price was right and I would book there again. The staff was very friendly.

I love the location. I'm a outdoor person, South Mountain Park is at your backdoor that offers lots of options.
