the room ac unit did not work!Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
PROS- good location off the freeway, fast check in, good room service food and cheap prices, comfy bed. CONS- i was relocated to 3 different rooms all of the ac units did NOT work! I finally gave up and just camped by the pool but 116 in AZ and no ac was horrible! The room had food still on the floor when I walked in and urine stains around the toilet im not sure the room cleaned? The bathtub did not drain and the water leaked all night long. Ghetto people stayed in the hotel and keep us up all night banging on doors and fighting. Cops were called out. For a Hilton and the price I expected more. Would never stay here again.

Good hotel for the money door was hard to close though clean and stylish. The front desk gave us cookies when we checked in which was a nice touch

Great hotel in Tempe.Posted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: The room was deluxe and very comfortable
Cons: Ice was a little hard to find. Machines weren't working well.
Location: Very close to the airport without being in noise range, easy to find. Close to outlet mall with fun shopping.
Loved the pool area and quiet space. The room was amazing for the price. Fitness centre was cool and well stocked.

A sanctuary in TempePosted Jul 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The old Fiesta Hotel is a treasure now that it is a Doubletree do not destroy its charm. The architecture and the lobby decor are lovely and not plastic. The hotel has a calm I have not found in other Hilton based establishments please maintain this ambiance. It is a sanctuary in the 21st century.

A/C was really terrible, it was too noisyPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: I don't like it
Cons: A/C needs to be upgraded, room facility needs renovated.
It was not central A/C, but a room A/C, it was terribly noisy, we could not sleep all night. The constant fan, which made a big noisy could not be turned off even the A/C was turned off. The bathroom is so small, so as the shower section, you can not turn around if you are big guy. The breakfast was so so, but too expensive, $15 per person. I definitely will not book it any more, and will not recommend to anyone.

Clean betterPosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Good pool, it was a good deal for the price.
Cons: It is always essential to make sure the rooms are cleaned very well, we had a clean room, however one bed had some stains and it looked like crumbs.
Location: Close to asu and the dbacks.
Nice place clean room please clean more outside of rooms and around the grounds.

Nice before but needs a lot of maintenancePosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed here multiple times when the hotel was Fiesta Resort and stayed here recently when it became Double Tree. I had no problems when it was Fiesta Resort. My recent experience starts with the front desk placing me in a disabled room even though the parking lots shows hardly anyone staying and that I am not a disabled person. The deadbolt won't lock, bathroom doors won't close and the shower doors don't close well either. The King size bed is actual made of two twin beds. Upon checkout they didn't ask how my stay was or even have a nice day. A little bit of TLC would be good for this place.
