Easy access

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a definite bonus!
Cons: Free wifi or better connection.
Location: Airport is very close and we were close to the light rail ( which was very cheap) to get downtown & Chase Field. Also very close to main routes.
This hotel was close the airport as well as downtown by light rail. The complimentary breakfast was great with a large selection. Everything was kept clean and the staff were very friendly. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Nice clean hotel

We enjoyed our stay but didn't realize it was bike week. We were disappointed that the hotel charged for in room internet access. Many lower priced hotels include this in their room rental rates. Most staff were very friendly but there were a few exceptions.

Enjoyable Stay!

Very comfortable. Liked the separate living and sleeping space. Good breakfast buffet and good food at restaurant. Pool is nice but they need to put more towels out. Never stocked fully and had to wait for some time before clean ones were brought out. That was the only bad thing about the hotel, if you consider that "bad"

Convenience

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: The security, complimentary breakfast, cleaniness and the long pool hours,
Cons: For staff to be cognizant of the number of people staying in the room. Each day we had to ask for an extra set of towels.
With the convenience to the Airport and the A's ball park, the hotel was ideal. The courtesy shuttle to both locations made it a economic place to stay.

Fantastic !!

Pros: what's not to like
Cons: maintain value for the money.
Location: strictly for the air port access
In my way of thinking it is great value for the money. The staff did every thing to make my stay a very pleasurable and wanting to come back the next time I am in Phx. Shuttle Driver was very helpful . I stay in Phx 3-4 times a year and this is my hotel for those stays.

Great location

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: We chose this hotel due to its location to the light rail (aka metro). The light rail and bus system allowed us to access Tempe, Phoenix and Mesa.
Cons: Staff is very nice, but not informed enough about amenities. We were given several different answers from different people on a few basic questions.
Location: Close to airport. With light rail/bus combo access you can easily go to Cubs park, downtown Tempe and Phoenix and Riverview center in Mesa. A
Decent hotel. Comfortable, spacious, convenient, with breakfast included. Housekeeping was lacking. The hotel seemed to be on a towel shortage for the 5 days we stayed. On the 1st day, after leaving a tip for housekeeping to give us 4 towels, they left 1. The next day as of 3:15pm, our room had not been cleaned at all until we called. The following day we figured out where to get our own towels and took it upon ourselves to do so for the rest of our stay. The pool never had towels until someone complained. Breakfast was good, if the staff kept up with refilling the offerings, which at times, they did not.

Where the missing socks hide.

Pros: Pool area was nice.
Cons: See general comments. Needs a renovation and better customer service.
Location: Location was convenient to the airport. We walked to nearby Szechwan Palace for dinner and had an enjoyable meal.
Hotel was nice enough with a good pool/hot tub area, but ordering drinks at poolside took about 40 minutes. My son found somebody's stray dirty sock in his bed and when I called down to complain, the front desk chalked it up to static cling. No apology. Offered to come up and change the sheets, but it was too late in the evening for that so we told them not to bother. Four of us checked into the room per our reservation, but there were only towels for three. Had to call three times to get more towels brought up. Carpet in our room was dirty and the room smelled like cigarettes. Grout in the restroom tile was also in need of some attention. Front desk agents (aside from the one that checked us in) seemed as though they didn't like to be bothered by their guests.

Fine, but I think you can do better for the money

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds, good breakfast, quiet
Cons: Too expensive for an airport hotel, cold showers, very ugly exterior
Location: Convenient to the airport
We stayed for one night after a late flight. The room was mostly fine, but very expensive for what it was. The shower was awful, never getting hot (only lukewarm). Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is well maintained, but the building is incredibly ugly (think cement Soviet architecture).
