Sounded OK, wrong !!Posted Mar 6, 2014
Cons: Just about all.
They need to get it together. There isn't much more to say. I need more characters, so to fill... a place to sleep, nothing more. Could use some frshening up.

Unique hotel near Old Town ScottsdalePosted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: The WiFi was inadequate. I have to be able to 100% rely on having reliable uninterrupted WiFi and this was NOT the case here.
Location: About a mile walk to restaurants, bars, shops in Old Town Scottsdale.
I found this hotel to be very unique. It was very retro, had a wonderful outdoor setting (pool, lots of outdoor space and furniture, etc....). The staff was very friendly and helpful and there was a peacock on the grounds as well.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: The outdoor area for gathering with friends
Cons: The air conditioner in our room didn't seem to work but we didn't need it during February
Location: Scottsdale Old Town and shops are nearby.
We loved the pool area. We used the barbeques to cook dinner. We sat around the gas fire pit and enjoyed company with other family members who were staying nearby. Phil the peacock was an added bonus. The rooms were comfortable.

Very incogneedo, haha, and cute.Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: We had our door open with music playing and no one seemed bothered by it. The grounds and pool area are very relaxing.
Cons: Only a better television in the room we stayed.
Location: Tons of fun stuff near by...restaurants, bars, shopping, entertainment. :)
The hotel is hidden amongst some residential apartment complexes. I believe that is used to be and old apartment complex that was renovated into a hotel. At first, we didn't know what to think but then became very comfortable in the apartment setting. The only drawback was that our room had a small older t.v., around 30" in didn't go up very loud on the volume while we were watching football. We had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. The property is beautiful and very cool. The pool area is awesome as well. Staff was really nice and helpful for any our needs. We stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday party as we partied at a nearby bar during the day and chose to stay in the area for an evening of drinking and fun.

Retro-Chic!Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: LOCATION! Pool! STAFF! Kitchen! Bikes!
Cons: Hot tub was broken (non-operational)
Location: Restaurants, bars, coffee houses, and shopping of Old Town Scottsdale just blocks away. We walked there and rode bikes there several times a day.
This little gem is perfectly situated for short walks to Old Town Scottsdale, but far enough from that busy area to be a quiet retreat. We loved the courtyard with the big cabana-type lounging beds, the pool, the TVs, the barbecue grills, and more.

DONT STAY HERE EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!Posted Jan 3, 2014
Pros: Close to Old Town Scottsdale. (5 Minute Drive)
Cons: It was hot in the room & not cleaned properly & uninviting.
Location: 5 minute drive from Old Town Scottsdale AZ
The room was in Scottsdale Az at the El Darodo. It was a KingSize Suite. Here is what I got: The whole place had NO AIRCONDITIONING! The temp in the room was in the upper 70's. I asked for AIR CONDITIONING & they brought me a fan & told me to open all the windows. It was hard to sleep in the heat. There is NO TV in the BEDROOM. There is a very old pool in need of repair & a BROKEN WHIRLPOOL. That's it folks. The room was clean upon arrival. From that point on, they only pulled up the bed sheets & wiped the counters in the bathroom & kitchen. Be sure to take your own soap, theirs resembles AJAX & you will only get 1 small bar. For 5 days they did not vacumn, clean the floors or bathtub. They did not change the sheets. I left a written note, 3 days in a row, for more towels & sheet change & it DID NOT HAPPEN. It is an old old old apartment complex with repainted cinder block walls and garage sale furniture. There was a lot of noise at night because I had to leave the windows open & it backed up to the parking lot with stairs right outside my door. There was no elevator for upper levels. It is about a 5 minute drive to Old Town Scottsdale. It is not walking distance.

Spacious accommodations at a reasonable pricePosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: We had a spacious one-bedroom suite with full kitchen for less than I would have expected to pay for a mid-priced hotel room.
Cons: Adding double-paned glass on the windows facing the pool and public spaces would make it quieter in the afternoon and evening.
Location: Centrally located on a quiet side street in Scottsdale, it was easy for us to get to the Desert Botanical Garden, Taliesen West, MIM and hiking trails

This hotel was fantatistic because we had a whole suite all to ourselves. Also, there were numerous amenities, free parking and beautiful grounds. Best of all, it was within walking distance to Old Town, the fashion mall, and many cultural venues.
