Weekend getawayPosted May 26, 2014
Pros: Most everything.
Cons: breakfast buffet short order cook needs to speed it up and learn English.
Location: Spent most of my time at ASU functions.
Went to Tempe for my daughters graduation from ASU. Room was available under 30 days out which was surprising. Drove from socal and arrived around 130 pm, their check in wasn't until 3 pm but thought I would ask and sure enough the room was ready and we were able to check in early and get comfy. Great room and great comfortable bed. Morning breakfast buffet was ok. The person doing the egg order was really slow but other than that, a good meal. This is my 2nd stay here and will be my primary choice when I return.

There for a wedding.Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: breakfast the grounds of the hotel and Garcia's.
Cons: Better housekeeping.
The hotel was nice the food was good. Garcia's service and food was excellent! The cleaning of our room was not great, Did speak to the front desk as the housekeeper did not clean our room all day we were gone from 10 am until 4 pm. We came back to get ready for the wedding and the room was half done bed was partially made no one in site. I ended up making up the bed not even sure if the linens were clean. The person at the front desk said she was sorry and would look into it. The next day we received a handwritten note of apology and a bag of candy and water. Which was a nice gesture.

Comfortable bed, free breakfastPosted May 18, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast, good air conditioning
Cons: Free internet access would be nice
Location: Just a 5 to 10 minute drive to ASU, Starbucks is across the street with grocery stores nearby.
The bed was very comfortable in the main bedroom room. The couch bed was not as comfortable for an adult, but would be great for kids. I like that they have pet friendly rooms, so we might bring our dog next time. The layout of the buildings was a little confusing, so it may take a while to find your room if you arrive in the dark.

great staffPosted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: the afternoon reception and breakfast. cleaning staff were excellent as all parts of the facility were always clean.
Cons: add plugs to desk lamps for electronic devices. Add shuttle service to local ballparks.
Location: good location, easy to get to baseball games. Also visited the bowling alley and Doc & Eddys.
front desk and shuttle service staff were of great assistance in answering questions and assisting during our visit. The bartenders at Garcia's and during the evening receptions were excellent. Very friendly, great conversation and offered tips on places to visit. Made constant use of hotel wifi which is an excellent feature.

Decent, but not greatPosted Mar 13, 2014
Cons: Bathroom, especially the bath and shower. Exercise facilities were limited. Fan was loud.
Location: Good location to get to Scottsdale shopping, baseball, superstition mountains and the Musical Instrument Museum in northern Phoenix.
Arrived late only be told that they had reserved a smoking room and had no non-smoking rooms. They blamed Expedia, but hard to say who was responsible. Next day, I was moved to a non-smoking room. Breakfast was great as usual. The room was okay, but the bath and shower were dated and the shower came out so hard it was unpleasant.
