“Will stay everytime when in Phoenix”

Staff very accomodating with requests. lovely and clean room w/ comfy bed and pillows. wonderful breakfast. all desired ammenities. convenient location to airport, interstate and shops.

“Good, spacious rooms”

As with all Embassy Suites, the attraction is the large rooms with separate bedroom and living room. All the free food is nice too. This is obviously one of the older Embassy Suites, but the rooms felt recently updated and everything was fine and we were very comfortable. We had a room away from the freeway and noise was not an issue. Rooms open directly outside which might be a security issue for some. They are finally in the process of making wifi available in the guest rooms. We had it but not all rooms do (all rooms have wired internet, however, and there is a dialy charge for both). Also the lack of a safe in the room is a problem if you want to leave valuables like laptops, etc, in your room. Our room had refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker however. Overall, very satisfactory stay. I would recommend.

“Not the best stay at an Embassy property”

This property was not one of the nicest Embassy Suites we have stayed at. We understood that it was an older property, however the "non smoking" room was a smoking room for too many years prior. A coat of paint and new linens cannot remove the smell. The staff at the front desk was not nice. When my wife attempted to check in they promptly gave her a hard time because she was not the name on the reservation and would not allow her to check in while I was trying to unload the vehicle. The same happened when we tried to check out. The breakfast bar was not a convienience with the hot food stuffed into a small corner with no room for guests. The hotel manager also served the cold bacon, sausage and faux scrambled eggs in lieu of the buffett style that we are acustomed to with the Embassy Suites stay. Will probably drive more miles to stay at a proper Embassy property.

Area recommendations

I would rather stay in Scottsdale or Happy Valley area. Stayed at these locations and found them to be a better representation of the Embassy Suites brand.

“Happy Camper”

First night was hard to sleep because the room location. After I changed the room to a quiet location, I was a happy camper. I was there 6 nights. Every morning I enjoyed fresh cooked meal. Excellent!!!

“Nice hotel”

Nice hotel, clean, convenient location off highway. Only nit was that the sink in the bathroom had a slow drain. Also would like more signs showing the way to the lobby. We were in building L and it took a while to figure out how to get to the lobby.

“Awesome in Phoenix”

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this particular Embassy Suite location and just love it. We stay at Embassy Suite's when ever we can and are never disappointed. The location to everything we need to get to in the Phoenix area is right there. Highly recommend this hotel.

“good hotel”

I've stayed at this hotel several times. I was asssigned good rooms in the past, but during my most recent stay, I was placed in a room next to the freeway. Very Loud! Great hotel, but request a room away from the freeway.
