“Had all the necessities”

It was clean and quiet outside but the room above us had some extremely noisy guests that kept tunning across the room until quite late even though we called the front desk. The kitchen was an added bonus and the price was right for the amenities.

“OMG! Do not stay here!!!!!”

We live about 12 miles from this hotel~ our A/C went out and we needed a room for the night. I read reviews on Expedia and this hotel got decent reviews, how I am not sure! The price made me a little nervous - I mean you get what you pay for, but we went for it anyway because we needed something NOW. As soon as we walked into the room, we should have turned around and left! There was a weird odor throughout the room - sort of like old stale cigarette smoke and dirty, moldy carpet! Gross! But, it was late, we were tired, hot, and cranky, so we stayed. The bed was an OLD, creaky mattress set from many moons ago - I would guess it was at least 15 years old. Not only was it ridiculously squeaky, but it was also hard as a rock! Maybe even harder! There was no ice bucket (they don't provide any),no wake up calls either. Again, we should have left! It might have been better, and more restful, to just suffer in our 95 degree house with no A/C! The next morning, we could not wait to get out of there! Neither my husband or myself had gotten much rest. The noise from traffic on the street outside our ground-floor room was so loud and continued ALL night long! Must be a lot of motorcyclists in that area, each time one went by it sounded as if they were riding straight through our room! A miserable, miserable stay at a horrible hotel in need of major upkeep! I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy! Yikes! At least there was cold A/C!!

“Best value for price”

I have stayed in many hotels in Phoenix of this type and around this price range and this one is definitely the best one! Its clean, confortable, everything. It has no pool, but other than that, no complains... I recommend it!

Area recommendations

The northern part of Phoenix is nicer, safer and quieter. Dear Vally is OK, and Scottsdale obviously. When booking a hotel, try to stay close to the freeways.

“cheap & clean”

Our room didn't have pillows, which the front desk staff quickly fixed... and expedia charged us for a King bed but they had none available... other than that, the place has no frills, but we weren't looking for any. There's a mini kitchen.

“softball trip”

was a pleasant stay...the only negative comment is that you CAN NOT CHECK IN UNTIL 3 PM. Tried to check in early due to my long travel, was denied and had to spend over an hour wondering the local Target.

“Great place to stay!”

This is my third time at this motel so I must be very satisfied with it. It is quiet and clean. It is also convenient with the kitchenette with the microwave, mini-stove and sink along with a toaster, silverware and a coffee maker.

Area recommendations

There are over a dozen restaurants just a mile to the south. For those traveling without a vehicle you can easily take the bus. For some it is within walking distance.
