“Will come back again”
Cleanest most comfortable room I've ever been in. Did not like a couple things, however: Had to go downstairs for an ashtray for a smoking room. Only one luggage cart during check out & being handicapped caused us major inconvenience & I had to carry bags on my arms while on my walker, causing me injury. Check out is 11am - we had housekeeping at 9:30am interrupting our sleep to ask if we were staying another night. I was doing my morning dialysis and it was dangerous to have to answer the door or risk her entering. We also had a "Do Not Disturb" sign in the door. We really liked the area and it changed our minds about choosing to visit Phoenix more often as a place to play.
“Anything But Deluxe”
The company slogan is Stay with us and stay Deluxe, however the stay at the Extended Stay Deluxe anything but deluxe, I would not care to extend it and nor would I care to repeat it. I believe that what you advertise in your amenities guide should be what I should expect to experience during my stay. The amenities guide and website clearly states that I am to be provided with a Pillow-top mattress for comfort and a continental breakfast with a selection of fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese, as showcased in the profile photo. But there was no Pillow-top mattress nor was there a continental breakfast offered in the lobby, just two coffee makers. But this is not my only grievance about my stay. The main lobby entrance was locked from the outside at 4pm on a Saturday; the only point of access was by calling in from an outside phone line and being let in from an exasperated front lobby attendant. I have never experienced such an underwhelming welcome when arriving at a deluxe hotel. The hallway smelled of fish and my room smelled of a combination of what I can only describe as body odor and musk; very unpleasant. Then there was the bed itself. There was nothing covering it save for a set of under sheets, neither a blanket nor comforter was provided for the bed. The mattress offered little support for comfort and it creaked. Finally the hot tub outside was out of service. Really, there was nothing Deluxe about this Hotel but I give it a star for an active A.C.
“Go somewhere else”
We've been going to the Phoenix area for years and have stayed at a lot of different hotels. We've stayed at luxury hotels and many average family motels, but this is definitely one that we will NOT be going back to. The staff were rude (very). The bedding definitely didn't seem clean and the bedding for the pull out bed had just been fabreezed and was still wet - gross! Luckily we had brought a blanket with us so our son used that instead. Since there are many, many choices in the Phoenix area, pick something else. You usually can't go wrong with Embassy Suites or Marriott. I wish I had picked one of those instead.
“My mistake for trusting expedia.”
Strike #1: As I was hauling my luggage into the lobby, a resident blew past me, cursing and slamming walls as he proceeded, claiming that someone had just broken into his car (in broad daylight) in the hotel parking lot. Strike #2: (see above) They checked me into an occupied room. Strike #3: Coffee maker didn't work and was never replaced; hot water in bathroom sink was ok-almost unavailable in shower. Strike #4: They attempted to double-bill my credit card. Problem was eventually resolved, but manager never bothered to return my calls with any updates, explanation, or apology.
“not impresses”
don't assume you will get what you want when you reserve a room. they will give you what they have when you get to the hotel
“" Can't wait to check out!!!!"”
the room was never cleaned in the 3 days of our stay. We never had fresh towels and had to use the same ones over and over and no blankets for the bed. I had to sleep with a sheet only. When i went to the front desk to inquire about bedding we were told the hotel did not have any extra blankets. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. The coffee bar/breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee and a muffin. Everywhere else that we stay they have breakfast not a snack.
“Very Good Hotel! (Bueno, Bonito y Barato)”
I got there extremely late, so may check in was cancelled, but they fixed it up and reaffirmed my reservation. I ve had a good experience with Expedia, but they should have a place to say that you are going to get there late. The Hotel was clean, the people were nice and helpful, everything worked and breakfast is continental. Nice place to stay if you need: "Bueno, Bonito y Barato!"
“Ok for the price.”
Overall, the stay was without incident. The WiFi (extra $5 per stay) was a bit slow and the morning breakfast that was advertised consisted of packaged muffin or bagles and apples in a bowl. The elevator inspection was expired by 7-8 months. All in all the stay was uneventfull which is generally what I was looking for.
“Used to be a guest.”
Room had no bedspread on bed. Just top sheet laid over, not tucked in. Trash by elevator with wine bottles sitting by it for 3 days we were there. Elevator had what appeared to be someones nose wipe smeared on wall. Pillows and bed were lumpy and hard. We had stayed there several times before as was convenient for us. It seems to be less clean each time . We will very likely go elsewhere in the future.
“Outstanding Place to Stay for Quick Getaway”
The location of the Biltmore is outstanding. You have Fashion Square about 5 miles away on Camelback Ave, you have an outdoor mall down the street. There were many places to eat around that location. We were only about 15 minutes north of Downtown Phoenix (local streets). The room was very nice better than we expected. The kitchen is small but cute and modern. The restroom was rather big for it being a hotel. I felt like I was staying in a rather large and modern studio apartment.
