Better than expected

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Room was very spacious , great bedding and modern looking. Pool is super, kids flock towards their own separate pool which is a great idea. The restaurants at the resort are fantastic, although LaHacienda entrees were stingy, considering the price. Would definitely come back. Love the golden lab that can be seen in the front lobby !

Awesome experience!!!! Loved every detail . Great staff , room and grounds! Went in off season and it was fantastic. The activities they have during off season like dive in movie night and techno slides (dj and light show at pool with water slides) were so fun! Even had a firework show! Coming back and bringing friends !😀

Beyond Amazing

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Pool, hot tub areas. Balcony of our room and beds so comfy! Turn-down service at night was a surprise and such a treat! Everything here is tops!
Cons: sur charge for internet is excessive. Internet should be free
Location: Camel back mountain, Sedona and Grand Canyon. Amazing food down in Old Scottsdale and the nearby WHole Foods is so helpful for light meals
Our experience here was outstanding. The hotel room and balcony we were perfect, luxurious and peaceful. I can't say enough about the whole place. The pool, hot tub, fireworks, endless white plush towels and much more! This is a beautiful, beautiful place.

Too big, indifferently maintained

Very big hotel constructed to minimum luxury standards and indifferently maintained. Has a overall slipshod air. Common areas, especially the halls, were dirty.

Wonderful

Beautiful location and facilities. Excellent and attentive service. Great pools - each catering to different wants, be they lounging, athletic, or fun. Landscaping is gorgeous - high end golf course quality throughout. If you are a fan of Mexican food then must try the La Hacienda. Great guacamole for appetizer and very good entrees. Also loved the signature 'ritas. :)

Wonderful Resort

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Staff, quiet room, concierge service, great location.
Location: Shopping, restaurants and golf very close by.
We stayed over Memorial weekend. It was very busy but it is a huge resort. I wouldn't call it a hotel. The staff far exceeded our expectations. I would give the staff a 10 if I could. Every staff person we talked to went out of there way to make us feel welcome. The room was wonderful. With 3 pools we were able to find a spot quiet enough to sun and read a book with tons of kids running around. We stayed in a junior suite "gold" room. I would highly recommend it!!! Guest parking is a ways away from the rooms. Be prepared to walk! We can't wait to come back.

World class hotel

Posted May 23, 2015
We have stayed 5 nights at this very nice hotel. We had an infant with us and they were very accommodating. The rooms are more spacious than in any regular hotel, the grounds around the hotel are beautifully maintained and the pools are amazing. They have 3 pools, 2 for adults and one for kids. It's not crowded, it's quiet all day long and it's a pleasure to stay. They don't charge you for every single detail like Hilton does and it was a pleasure to stay. We'll definitely come back.

Fantastic Spa

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: The spa, service, restaurants, well maintained property and grounds.
Cons: Poor choice of outer hallway floor material in the use of tile. As persons are checking in or out, you hear the luggage wheels rolling along.
Location: Golf and shopping. Enjoy the sunshine
The gate guard was OK. The front desk check in was fast, friendly, and efficient. The luggage handler was very good and explained the room. Since I was traveling alone, I was grateful to be on an upper floor as I wouldn't have felt comfortable on the lower floor. The daily resort charge should be added to the hotel cost as you are required to pay for it anyway. I never used the resort pool, but since I used the spa facilities on a daily basis, I used that pool instead. I appreciated the ability to have a spa service, leave, and return without having to pay for the use of the spa facilities again...that in itself will increase the chances that I will return again to the hotel.
