Trip

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The bed, I was able to sleep comfortable.
Cons: Deep cleaning and repairs on the minors details the room has.
Location: The location was great for what I was looking for.
The staff was really helpful polite and friendly. The conditions of the room were ok. The room needed more cleaning and there were some minor details in some areas of the room that need repairs. The bed was super comfortable.

Need to do a deep cleaning

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Nothing special. :(
Cons: A DEEP CLEANING and remodeling and better training for your staff and vending machines. Plus continental breakfast SUCKED Eggs were wet and mussy etc
Location: Oh Joy.. Only thing to do is to go to Q/T gas station for some decent food. REALLY ! A GAS Station is better then there Breakfast. BARF>!
I have stayed here many times. But was very disappointed with my last visit. Dirty, Nasty, and was afraid to touch anything. The bath tub found hair in it, toilet hair, around facets rust and mold, lamp shades were all tilted to get more light into the room, and Mold around the A/C and chipped paint. The pool looked green also. :(

Comfortable getaway hotel near the home

Posted May 18, 2015
A last minute unplanned staying near home, loved the comfortnes of the king size bed, loved the spaciousness of the room, I noticed that the mirror in front of the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in a while. Overall a good experience.

No room service

Posted May 12, 2015
The hotel is badly in need of maintenance. The pool looks like pea soup. We got room service one day and that was it. Very poorly run.

Nice hotel, convenient location

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfortable.
Cons: Leave a spare roll of toilet paper, in case the one on the roll runs out.
Location: Can't because there visiting family member in hospice - no time to do other things.
My experience was good overall. However, if you need a gluten-free breakfast, you will have to try to get one of the staff to show you the label(s). At first, I was told that was not possible, but the staff person went and took a picture of the lable, except it was picture of the directions, not the ingredients. The next day a different staff person allowed me to read the ingredient list on the package of turkey sausages and they were marked as "No Gluten"! MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO MAKE A LIST OF INGREDIENTS AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS TO READ! Only other issue was that no spare roll of toilet paper was left in the room; guests have to keep asking for a spare roll - first time this has happened to me.

Nice staff, jenky room.

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Good location, easy to find, staff was good.
Cons: Regular maintenance and upkeep. Air condition the stuff room the computer is in. (and clean the keyboard)
Location: Right next to the frontage road but fairly quiet. Easy in and out. Many food options down the street along with a mall.
The staff was nice and the welcome/treat basket was a great touch but the room did not deserve any part of the Wyndham name. Crusty stain on the carpet, paint on the chair, shower stall was stained, cupboard doors were hung crooked and holes in the wall where the hair dryer should have been. When we asked for a hair dryer they seemed surprised we didn't have one, which makes me wonder how often they look at the rooms. The handyman was great and we got one put in quick, but this never should have been an issue. Overall it seemed like another hotel didn't make it and Wyndham bought it and didn't change anything but the name.

Hawthorn Suites Tempe

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Worn sheets or holes in sheets for sofa bed. No TP in bathroom. Bathroom not clean. Day manager was late getting breakfast out and did not know how to print a receipt. Lobby men's room dirty and repellent. Only good thing was the king bed was comfortable
