This place is just OK.Posted Dec 2, 2013
This place is OK, nothing fancy, but its not the worst place I've ever stayed. PROS: The room was cheap. The gym equipment worked (although the gym room was like 80 degrees). The in-room heat/AC did the job. The coffee in the morning was OK. The walls seem thick since I never heard any noise at night. Plenty of parking. Close to freeways & food. There was free breakfast in the morning, which we did not really try, but it smelled ok. The other guests seemed to enjoy their breakfast in the morning. CONS: We were under the impression that our room would have 2-TV's, a love seat, as well as a burner in our kitchen. Each of those items were key in helping me select the hotel, so it was disappointing when we got there and those items were not included. Our sheets had something red like lipstick on them. Also on the last night, we got back to our room and the decorative pillows/throws for our beds were thrown in the corner on the ground instead of on our beds. The hotel was OK but not special.

very good hotel,Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: the friendliness of hotel staff, and how comfortable the room was
Cons: it looked like at least in my hotel room the kitchen counter needed to be replaced
very nice hotel with a great staff, but I noticed little bit of damage in my hotel to the kitchen counter. My room was a little noisy during the day, due too freeway off ramp that is near the hotel.

Nice for the pricePosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Location (for me). Value of room and facilities. Breakfast.
Just needed an inexpensive place for one night in the Phoenix area, which I'm not too familiar with. This hotel fit the bill. It seems a little off the beaten path, but looking at maps of the area it seems like it may be fairly well located for the east side of Phoenix. Drove around some it didn't take long to get to Scottsdale and Camel Back mountain area. Freeway runs north and south next to the hotel, so it's easy to get on/off. Hotel seemed clean. Breakfast was very good, including hot foods, and included in price. Used the on-site laundry facilities, which were not fancy but very adequate. Staff was very accommodating.

Very nice hotelPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Enjoyed the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Tempe. Clean, efficient, spacious, and a very friendly staff. Breakfast is good and the price is great. Hallways and stairs corridors are very hot in summer and sometimes it takes air conditioner a bit to cool down, but overall, it is very comfortable. I've stayed there twice on business in the Phoenix area and I will stay there again. Location is good 2 mi from ASU and 4-5 mi from downtown Mesa. Access to major arteries. About 15-20 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport (due east of airport) on Tempe/Mesa border. A great place.

One of the best hotels in Tempe, AZPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: We liked almost everything about this hotel - very comfortable beds, spacious room, hot breakfast, location, two flat screen TVs, etc.
Cons: Lighting in the room
Location: Easily accessible. It's at the intersection of N Price Road and E Southern Ave.
Conveniently located, reasonably priced, big rooms and very courteous staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Forgot to mention hot breakfast in the morning.

Decent valuePosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pool was quite small and right next to the parking lot. The in room AC was, as such things tend to be, somewhat loud but in a mostly inoffensive white noise manner. Breakfast was filling -- potatoes, eggs, cereal and the likes. Room was okay, kind of a low-rent version of embassy suites.
