Not What We ExpectedPosted Nov 9, 2013
We booked a king casita suite for one night at pricey rate. The description included mountain views and fireplace. Disappointingly, there was no mountain view and no fireplace. The room was tired and carpet was worn. I asked for a room with a fireplace or a lower rate for our current room but was told there was nothing they could do because we booked through Expedia. They actually said "you should have booked with us directly... if you had, we would have helped you." We also ate at the hotel restaurant, Lon's. This was a wonderful experience. Amazing outdoor setting and incredible food and wine.We highly recommend Lon's, but will not be staying at the Hermosa Inn again.

.accommodation Hermosa lnn Scottsdale ArizonaPosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: every thing
Cons: an honest nothing. fabulous shower, flat screen tv, soft bed and lovely bedding, could not ask for more.
Location: we had almost booked a large resort when l thought don't be so fast , have another look and the style of the place attracted me. Shopping, dinning ect
the surroundings, sculptures ambiance, great people, stayed longer, the gardens magic, the history of the place was terrific. quiet nights, sitting outside the villa feet up listening to the peace and quiet of the evening... would go back in a heart beat.

Best kept secret (?) in PhoenixPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our second stay this year - and planning a third! This small Inn is perfectly set in an upscale Paradise Valley neighborhood and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well appointed. The bar and restaurant are a destination itself - and when the weather permits the outside dining is one of the best in the valley. We have stayed at many of the nicer hotels in the years we have visited Phoenix - none compare!

LOVED this oasis in Phoenix however, phone did not work (I had a cell, no biggie), no makeup mirror (at a resort?) AC was far too noisy, and (drumroll please) water would only get marginally luke warm, seriously! (OK, it was 109 degrees in the shade so I survived this). I would still give this a 5 star for character, uniqueness and effort. I mentioned all these issues to the management and have faith they will improve. I will be back to see...

Wonderful oasis in the middle of Scottsdale, AR.Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Location and size
Cons: We would have liked to have a small round table...even a drop leaf with two chairs in our casita as we enjoy playing games and cards in the evenings.
Location: Location was like an oasis ...we live near by so just went for a few days get away to relax. We know that there are many things to do.
We found the Hermosa Inn to be a very comfortable oasis near Scottsdale. One would not even know that the city was just blocks away. It was quiet and peaceful all day. The yards and gardens were well kept..as if they were manicured daily. Having a heated pool was a treat. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We thank Pam, Nicole, David and Rachel who were readily available to assist us and DID. We were in one of the Casitas that was very cozy and comfortable. When we closed our door, never heard any outside noise. Enjoyed the quality of the bedding and towels and the Hermosa Brand products were great. In fact we enjoyed their shampoo, conitioners etc. so much, had to purchase some of products to take home...first time we felt could not leave a hotel without taking their products home and we have been to many spa's and inns across the USA and in other countries. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Magnificent Inn 15 minutes from airportPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: Quiet and beautiful grounds.
Location: Quiet neighborhood not far from downtown.
Wonderful Inn in Scottsdale. You feel as if you're in your own private oasis. Great restaurant on the grounds and about 1/2 hour from everything around Scottsdale 15 minutes from Skyharbor Airport.

Cons: The Hotel Staff
The room and the groungs were very nice. The person who checked us in was very rude and clearly didn't know what she was going. Despite my room being booked on expedia they billed me again for my stay. Very frustrating.
