Nice hotel. Close to freeway. Comfortable beds. Only problem was with housekeeping. Check out time is at noon. It was 10 am and housekeeping came in my room even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Then they asked if we were planning to stay past check out time. I called guest service and they apologized. I would go back.

Excellent jumping off point.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and offered all amenities for travelers into and out of airport. Only detraction was neighborhood. Safe and convenient for airport connections, but not as base for visiting city.

Good hotel close to airport

Posted Apr 3, 2015
I've stayed at Hilton Garden Inn many times on business trips ... alway dependable no matter what city. When I needed a hotel near the airport in order to use the shuttle service, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. Check-in was easy, room was comfortable, and shuttle service was right on schedule. A good experience all-around.

4 people cant sleep in a king size bed.

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Even though I made my reservations 6 weeks in advance and received a confirmation for a room with two queen beds. Oh yeah, I also paid $239 for the room as well. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that they did not have a room with two queen beds they only had rooms with king beds. Needless to say I was not happy, they said that it was because I made the reservation through Expedia. They offered to bring a roll away bed into the room, the room was not big enough for an additional bed and my husband wound up sleeping in the roll away bed while me and my two daughters slept in the king size bed. I was very disappointed especially since I did pay $239 for the room. The staff was great and they did give us free tickets for the breakfast buffet, which was awesome. So I guess it was ok, but even though I called and checked on the reservation, when I arrived they did not have the room that I had the confirmation for.

Great experience!

Posted Mar 26, 2015
I selected this hotel off of previous reviews I read and didn't disappoint. My only gripe was one of two things: First we were given a handicap room and the shower had a stationary shower head and an additional hand held shower head with two different on and off handles. Let's just say I ran the shower for my son and used the wrong handle. The hand held shower head wasn't pointing in the shower and I couldn't turn it off fast enough. The bathroom literally looked like a flood had happened. We used all our towels and I called the front desk to order fresh ones for the morning. I waited two hours and feel asleep, never received fresh towels. Secondly, I needed to do laundry and there is one washer and dryer with a constant line. Then complaint is the dryer literally took two hours to dry our clothes and we had two loads. I didn't eat at the restaurant. But loved the complimentary coffee and tea around the clock. Loved, Loved, Loved the adjustable bed mattress. I could sleep firm and my husband could sleep soft or medium.

Great staff

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Front line staff
Cons: Housekeeping
This was our second stay and the staff were great. However housekeeping again was lacking where 2 out 3 days we had to request to have our room cleaned. This after 3pm. On one afternoon the housekeeping staff were busy taking selfie with another staff

I arrived at the hotel after driving for 6 hours. The receptionist could not find my reservation. I gave her my confirmation number and print out of the reservation and she still could not find it. She then GAVE ME the vendor relations phone number to call and have it resolved. While I was on the phone with Expedia (he was extremely helpful) he asked if the hotel was really busy and was confused as to why I, the customer, was calling. There were no other people checking in and there were 2 staff members. They were just extremely rude.

Pros: Well maintained. On site restaurant was good.
Location: Close to airport and car rental return.
We stopped at this hotel for one night before flying out early the next morning. Our room was very nice, clean and well maintained, The bed's mattress was adjustable, and was comfortable. Unfortunately, this hotel is also following the trend of having thick duvets instead of blankets. It was physically too heavy, and way too warm. We ended up pulling the middle out of it and sleeping under the covering. Once we did, we got a reasonable nights sleep. We have often traveled in Europe and slept under duvets, but they are not the same as here. They even have light weight versions. This room had a portable air purifier running constantly. I didn't mind the white noise, but I cynically wondered whether it was there to clean up after a smoker ( or something worse) had been in the room, Finally, since this was the end of Super Bowl Week, the price of the room was considerable higher than I would normally expect, but that was true of all the hotels in Phoenix. On the plus side, we had a very nice evening meal at the on-site restaurant. We left too early to try the breakfast.
