Ok hotel, close to Phoenix airport

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: I was not impressed by the front desk staff. Restaurant & Meal Options Revamp the only bar/restaurant in the hotel
Location: If you do not have a rental car, pretty much nothing available nearby
The hotel is close to the airport. It includes a shuttle service, that you will need to call in advance once you’ve arrived, with a 15 to 20 minute wait. The front desk staff was friendly but lifeless, they showed no intention of doing anything extra for the guests. For a hotel that is close to the airport, with no other restaurants nearby, it lacks the amenities necessary to cater to the business traveler. There is only one bar in the premises with a limited food menu. The ambient is old and run down, with no particular character that would invite a guest to come in and have a nice meal.

Nice hotel for the price

Cons: Bathroom could be cleaner.
Bath tub was clogged and the bathroom counter was not properly wiped down. Probably the luck of the draw, otherwise, not bad.

飛行場からはタクシーで5-10分くらいかかりました。思ったより離れていましたが問題ないレベルです。 朝食を頂きましたがウエイトレスの方がたまたま日本語を話せる方で親切にしていただきました。

very good hotel - excellent access

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Good friendly staff.
On 4 different occasions I have stayed at this location. If you don't wish to go out for dinner, or any meal for that matter, they have a very good onsite restaurant plus a sports bar. Friendly, but respectful staff makes the stay even better. One of the major reasons for me choosing this location was the excellent access to all major routes, so travel to other areas , is quite easy.

Doesn't Disappoint

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Pool area. The rooms and hotel lobby have been recently remodeled.
Cons: I was surprised that it costs $25 to "rent" a microwave.
Location: Near the airport. Close to Chase Field and close to Scottsdale.
We usually stay in this hotel about 3 times a year when we visit the Phoenix area. It is comfortable and our kids enjoy the pool for most of the stay.

Disappointed

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: The concierge staff on the top floor were kind, accommodating, friendly and cared about making sure my needs were met
Cons: A sign saying where to get the papers. A concierge downstairs instead of four stories up. A working balcony door.
Location: Make sure you have a car or are willing to take a taxi in order to get where you want to go.
I had a balcony with a nice view however the lock was disabled and I could not use it. I was challenged with not being able to access newspapers. You don't have a desk copy (which a patron is not allowed to remove from the lobby). You place all of the newspapers in the restaurant (when I came downstairs in the morning, I did NOT go into the restaurant because I did not need to go into the restaurant. How is a hotel patron supposed to know to go into the restaurant for a paper if he or she does not want breakfast and there are no signs? Am I supposed to know by osmosis that the papers are not in the lobby? I assumed they had not yet arrived and left the building to complete my errands and activities for the day. Not everyone thinks to go to the desk to ask about a newspaper...most papers are available on or by the check in desk or in front of the room door! They did, however, tell me, "Go upstairs to the concierge. Maybe they have a paper." I do not always want to take private transportation or a taxi; sometimes I want to walk to an activity such as a movie. Therefore I was challenged by the lack of accessibility other than by car or taxi. There is not a shuttle available to take a patron to even a mall or a grocer for that matter. I could not even find a bus stop that I could board. At least a bus stop would take me where I desired to go. I am disappointed.

Cons: More knowledge/recommendations from staff
Nice facilities and pool is lovely. Not super convenient for the airport and no early breakfast for early flights. Staff was helpful, but did not know much about events or restaurants in the area
