bad locationPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: the big rooms
Location: not good, as stated above
the hotel was nice, we were disappointed with the location. It was right on the train line, but that was about all that was close by.

No better placePosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: It was elegant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very reasonable
Cons: I couldn't think of anything to improve about this hotel.
Location: We were able to go to the Diamondbacks baseball game. The hotel shuttle was able to take us and it helped us to not have to search for parking.
When I booked this hotel it looked nice, but walking in to the hotel was amazing. It was elegantly decorated and furnished. The staff was very helpful and gave us ideas of places to visit. We were shuttled to our event and the shuttle driver was very nice and respectful. If I go back to visit this will be the only hotel I will check into. This hotel is my only choice now!

Not one thing negative to say......Posted Aug 7, 2013
What a great stay! The entire staff that I had the pleasure to deal with was awesome ( attentive, smiling and helpful ). A comforting environment in the lobby, dining area and of course - our room. Plenty of stuff within walking distance. Very clean.

Nice convenient locatonPosted Jul 30, 2013
Cons: Clean bathroom better
Location: Baseball game science center was awesome.
Was a nice quiet hotel. We were there for baseball game and it was extremely easy to get to field from there. The shower had hair in it but other than that nice stay. Spent lots of time in pool and whirlpool

Great hotel for the moneyPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: Beautiful atrium, friendly staff, shuttle available to downtown (very friendly driver).
Cons: Minor issues about the internet and the a/c.
Location: Excellent for the I17, I10, downtown.
Having given this hotel 5s all the way (mainly because it would be unfair to give it a 4 for anything), I must say that there are some criticisms to be made. For example, it should not be necessary to negotiate access for more than one piece of equipment to the internet, considering the daily charge they make. The charge should be per room, and not per device, by default, not by negotiation. Also, the final bill included three days' internet charge, although it states that the charge is for 24 hours from login and we had only been there for two nights. The young lady at the checkout very graciously changed this to the correct charge, but I'm sure many people would have paid up without complaining. The a/c is limited to 70 degrees, which is just cool enough, but I would have preferred it to be cooler. They should tell you this in their hotel information.

Just a tiny bit short of perfectionPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: Grand appearance and spectacular feel of grandeur
Cons: parking & breakfast, maybe
I was very impressed with much of my stay at the Hilton Suites Phoenix. The suite was very well appointed and the overall layout of the rooms was excellent. The view was excellent and during the thunderstorm which we experience, the scene presented by the lightning was truly awe inspiring. The room was generally very clean upon our arrival and during our stay with one exception, coffee pouches were forgotten in the coffee maker. The staff was excellent with only one annoyance; my business partner was not allowed to occupy the room in spite of having the reservation confirmation number and proper identification. Parking is one of two others issue I would like to address. I know parking is at a premium in all urban locations but $11.00 per day on top of the hotel bill is a lot to ask from your guests. My suggestion is for the sake of guest relations; pick up half of the cost of parking for them. My second issue is only a possible upgrade you might consider. The breakfast buffet is rather mundane for a four star hotel such as yours. The food was well prepared and delicious but as I noted mundane. If the breakfast exists for the convenience of your guests then your breakfast is sufficient but as an attractant to your hotel, a better buffet would be better received. A sous-chef with a smile and an omelet pan, a greater variety of fruits, yogurts, pastries, and meat products could go a long way to attract diners to your facility.
