Visiting Our Arizona Corporate Office.

Posted Jul 10, 2014
While I was In Phoenix, Visiting our Mesa Corporate Office. I chose to stay at the Hilton/Mesa Hotel, because it was located minutes away from our Office, and because I have had Fantastic past experiences with Hilton Hotels. The Front Desk Staff was very Friendly as well as the staff in th Atrium Lounge and the Executive Level Host Lounge. My stay there was very pleasant and relaxing.

Summer in Mesa, AZ

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and the lobby is beautiful.
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms...it is an older property that they basically gave a face lift!
We were put in an 8th floor jr suite with an AC that didn't work. We called front desk and they sent the maintenance man up with a fan! He explained that they have a lot of problems with these rooms because of their size and there was nothing he could do for the AC. At midnight we had to go down to front desk and pick up another fan it was so hot and humid. I ended up sleeping on the tile floor to get any relief! We could not get the children to sleep because of the heat in the room. Very disappointed....until they put new units in our family will NOT be returning!!

Pros: Location
Cons: Bar in the room
Location: several restaurants, mall and theatre
The only thing I would change is to have a bar in the room. They had a small frig but was empty

Way too much noise from bar.

First the lady behind the counter took way too long to help me. Second there was way too much noise coming from the bar.

Ok hotel, stay if you need to be in the area.

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Location, we were visiting nearby.
Cons: I've stayed at this hotel in the past. This time the building is starting to look dated.
Location: Mimi's Cafe and the Fiesta Mall are close.
The hotel is ok, I would only recommend if you need to stay in the area. Lots of nearby businesses have closed up.

Nice hotel

Posted May 18, 2014
Location: It was close to the freeway, dining, and a shopping mall.
It was a nice room. It smelled a little like smoke when we came in. I called down to the front desk and they said we weren't anywhere near a smoking room. What we found out is that we were directly above the smoking area so anytime someone went out side to smoke, it got into our room. Otherwise, it was great. I would send someone there and stay there again.

Not that great

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: Free M&M's
Cons: Bathroom needs to be updated and the beds could be updated also.
Location: Good location for me.
I requested a non-smoking room, but they put me in a smoking room. The toilette constantly ran and the carpets were dirty. They had a brunch, but I couldn't see paying $34.95 a person for a brunch. The room was clean, but they are showing a great deal of wear.

Bad Neighborhood

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Staff were very nice
Cons: Not very clean. Very old.
Location: Nothing to do near by. Bad neighborhood.
Hotel was located in a bad neighborhood. Pictures and on-line description HIGHLY exaggerated the amenities and facility. Don't buy into the lie!!!

Family get Together

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Location: Close enough to go to Golf Land, or Tempe for dinner or see Family in Gilbert.
Our stay was enjoyable. Let family swim one evening. This was our second stay here to do activities with family in the Mesa, Gilbert area.

Noisy too many kids couldn't use the pool .

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Easy access to every thing.
Cons: Sound proofing , Its hard to sleep through a party. less kids or more strict hours for them.
Location: The hotel is right by every thing from shopping malls and so many places to eat it was hard to choose. Great location.
The hotel is beautiful, but no sound proofing. The bar in the center is great, but all the laughter carries up to the rooms. gaps in the doors allows the sound in. Some one sneezed next door and I said God bless you and they said thank you. That's too close to your neighbors you don't know. Next is after 3 times trying to go to the pool and it was full of kids no room for adults, and the hot pool was even worse . The set up is great. But if you want a quiet place to hang out by the pool, try a bath. No guest breakfast and for those prices ya would think right? Not so . Oh coffee. And not cheap to eat there either. The bar tender the one evening we were there was right down rude. He couldn't even smile and say hello. The rest of the staff seemed nice, but he was a grouch. Just a young man too. WE didn't stay long. why if you don't act like you want us there. This is one time the Hilton wasn't a good choice.
