Pros: Conveniently located and staff very helpful
Liked the location. Parking was a premium but the hotel staff was very helpful in finding space. Room was clean.

Not good cleaning throughout the room.

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Cons: Room cleanliness. Bar attendant (male) not pleasant with customers.
Spent 9 days there and they did not vacuumed the room. I purposely left some small papers on the floor and they were there until I left. Brochures and hotel information never put back in place. They sat all the time were I left them.

Pleasant

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Nice place to stay. The only inconvenience is the parking...it's at another location, on the building behind the hotel. :( in the daytime it's ok, but in the night time it's kind of creepy..

Nice, but could use a little tightening up

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Cons: Staff empowered to address or report inappropriate behavior.
Location: Centrally located.
Terrific greeting by front desk staff on check in that included everything I needed to know. Nice little in-house dining option and pleasant waitstaff. Room was a bit worn, carpet had a noticeable stain about a foot across and was stretched a bit thin. Bathtub had a broken drain cover. But size was good, daily housekeeping okay, amenities useful. Room was comfortable overall. On the way out one evening, one staff person was behind the front desk telling a story to his coworker using crude language (including f bombs) seeming oblivious to guests in the vacinity - that was disappointing and the kind of thing you don't expect in a hospitality environment.

Nice for the Price

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Room was fine, comfortable, roomy, liked the microwave and fridge bar.
Location: The Vig was a nice restaurant near the hotel, neighborhood setting.
I was pleasantly surprised, I especially loved the nighttime view of the downtown area.

Great location for business

Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort
Cons: It was a little loud (air conditioner, neighbor's water usage, etc.) but nothing too distruptful.
Location: It was very centrally located for my business, as well as the restaurants nearby.
I was there for a business trip. The hotel was located very close to the Park Central area, where I was going. It was only a couple of blocks from the Metro, so very convenient for not renting a car. And plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and certainly did the job. I'd certainly stay there again.

Short Stay in Phoenix

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Buffet breakfast was good, and quick. Wait staff were very nice and friendly
Cons: Small item but cold water tap gave out hot water a lot of the time.
Location: Excellent location for me, walking distance to one of my favorite Phx restaurants, nice neighborhood.
Good location for me, and easy to get there from the airport. Everyone was very nice, room was clean and very comfortable. Having to park a block away might bother some, but for me, it was fine, as I needed an opportunity to stretch my legs.

Dear Steve, I am very happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Holiday Inn Phoenix Downtown North. I( am very proud of the entire staff and the jobs they do. I also wish we had more parking out front, but with a free covered parking garage less than 100 yards from our back door it is not to bad. Fred Pratt General Manager

Great stay. Great hotel. Parking sucks. 12 spots in front of hotel. The rest in a parking garage behind a hotel behind this hotel
