Fits the need for a place to stretch out

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Clean, roomy, quiet, with a hot breakfast to start the day.
I've continued to use this hotel on business in Scottsdale because of location and having the suites to manage the work brought in from the car.

Pros: I liked the suite style rooms with the kitchenette. It was a homey feel and with a teenager along, we could each have our own space.
Location: Scottsdate is a beautiful community with many wonderful shopping areas and restaurants. The downtown area was a nice place to walk.
This was a great location for experiencing the Phoenix area and checking out colleges in the area. It was close to many great restaurants and shopping areas and close to freeways. This was a very comfortable home base for us. Hot breakfast in the morning got us off to a good start and we returned to a comfortable and relaxing environment each afternoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY... SMALL SWIMMING POOL

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The comfort, the quiet and the beds were very comfortable!
Cons: The pool is small... not improvement here... just don't expect the teenagers to be very happy about the size!
Hi, this is a great hotel to stay at as long as you are not looking for a huge pool for the kids! The pool is small and goes from 3'-5' deep and worked for small kids or sunbathing and cooling off! The rooms were clean, the service was great and would definitely stay again!

OVerall a good hotel for the value

Cons: Rooms. Beds were small for two people per bed and they need some renovation.
Location: Baseball games, shopping, hiking, etc.
Good location and price was reasonable. Very good breakfast, rooms could use an update.

Great place with great service

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Thje food was great, the staff top notch and the location was very pleasant.
Cons: Our room was quite noisy as we heard water run through the pipes, toilets flushing at all hours, and people noises through the walls.
Location: Good location, and close to the ballparks and easy access to the freeways.
The hotel was better than we expected and close to the spring training ballparks. What made it better than expected was the good evening meals provided as well as the breakfast. The cooks were active and involved with us and provided excellent service.

Pros: Like the concept of two separate areas and two tvs.
Cons: Didn't get our bed made or towels replaced day before we departed as well as no fresh towels the day before either.
Location: Near freeway so you can get anywhere and no lack of restaurants.
Good location for us as we traveled all over Phoenix area--north to Prescott, Jerome; then south to Tucson, Apple Valley. Close to freeway (but not tooo close)--located within area of hundreds of restaurants

wasn't the best

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Our room didn't get cleaned, we called the front desk and asked for fresh towels and never received them.... Left early the next morning and still had to go find fresh towels when we came back at lunch.... Black mild in the shower. Just needs some thorough cleaning and supervision!

Kinda a blur

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Cons: Desk staff should be more familiar with the area. Sarah could not tell me about the bus system, nor where to find the nearest Catholic Church.
We must've been nurturing a pneumococcus on our 800+mile trip from Reno, for when we "landed" my husband and I were in continuous cough-fever mode. The staff was so supportive, kept our suite aired, wastebaskets emptied, and the healthy fresh fruit was our mainstay. Having both meals at the hotel was so convenient and nutritious. I spent the entire stay in the most comfortable bed, ventured out once to slip into a refreshing unoccupied pool, and sit in the sun.
