We have been staying at the Holiday Inn because we had children. Once they were grown up, we needed to find ourselves a "grown up" folks hotel. This was the perfect hotel for us. We had surroundings fit for an adult. The complimentary breakfast was finally not kids food. The pool had great music playing at it and beautiful colored flashing lights. Made me feel like we were in Vegas. There are very nice restaurants walking distance and a great big theatre. I would go back to Mesa just to stay for a few days at this hotel.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Everything was excellent except their free breakfast wasn't hot enough. Everything my husband and I tried was only lukewarm. But if that is my only complaint, it truly isn't much of a complaint.

We spent five nights in this hotel. Good position for five minute walk to Old Town or ten minutes to the restaurants at waterside or shopping at Fashion Square. Also situated just off Scottsdale Road and near the 101 for longer sightseeing drives.
The staff were excellent and friendly. There was a very good buffet breakfast provided free.
My only small quibble was that they had no display of leaflets for tourists regarding sports, shopping, visitor attractions in the area. We asked and the receptionist pulled some from a drawer which was fine but I thought this kind of info was usually prominently displayed. This was a very minor point in anotherwise perfect stay.

Accommodations exceeded expectations, we arrived late in the evening and were tired and hungry. The desk clerk helped to expedite a problem with our reservations through Expedia and prepared a snack for us on the house!

We were visiting the area from NY to see our 2 year old grandson. We booked our room at the last minute, but had no trouble getting a room. Apparently, this hotel just opened less than 2 weeks ago, after extensive renovations. This property is sparkling new and the rooms are furnished in a contemporary style. The room we stayed in was junior suite style with a living room at the entry, with a large HD TV hanging from the wall, large L-shaped sofa, desk and small refrigerator and coffee maker. Then, you enter the bedroom, which had 2 queen sized beds(very comfortable), dresser, and a small closet, with a large floor-lengthed mirror on the closet door. The bedroom also had a large HD TV hanging from the wall. The bathroom, while not large, was adequate for the 2 of us
All of the hotel staff that we encountered were cheery and attended to our every need. There is a very nice fresh continental breakfast, with a nice assortment of breads and muffins, fresh cut fruit, yogurts, juices, cereal, hot breakfast sandwiches, and hot coffee. A complimentary USA Today and Wall Street Journal was provided for all guests.
