Nice hotel, but the pool is delapidated.

Nice hotel, but the pool area needs a remodel. Very old and falling apart. And only goes to three feet. Who swims in three feet of water? The bottom of the pool is coming apart and the outside is as well. Could use waitresses and food service as well.

Great Location

I like the location. It's center of downtown, next to convention center and ball park. Saw the Giants winning the game in the park. Room is old, but clean and quiet. Lots of great foods and drinking places near by.

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Was not expecting something so nice based on the price we paid. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was nice enough. Didn't have much of a view on the 10th floor. Bed was comfy and linens were plush. Shower head was strong.

Nice hotel - but needs some updates

Pros: I had ordered room service from Chelsea and she was EXCEPTIONALLY nice and curteous. Very proffessional.
Cons: The above stated.
Location: There is an awesome bar named Hanney's a block away - great atmosphere, very unique drink menu, great DJ.
Beautiful hotel! We had a hard time getting in our room because the key would not work, it took 4 different sets of keys and the engineer to fix it. The amenities were great, except the bathtub handle came off and the removable shower head did not work. The room was very clean though. I feel like it just needs a tiny bit more TLC.

Review of Hyatt Regency Phoenix

Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Better valet service. On Friday night, March 19, the wait time for your vehicle was over 30 minutes.
I booked two rooms for March 19 to 21. We were looking forward to visiting the Compass restaurant Saturday afternoon and experiencing the revolving room, a deciding factor in our choice of hotels for the area. However, the hostesses of the restaurant denied us (a 30+ couple and a grandma) access, even though the room at 4:45 was only a quarter filled. We said we would forgo a dinner for only drinks, but again were denied. Their reasoning: a party for that evening was booked and would take up all the available space. We feel that to purposely deny hotel guests the main amenity of the establishment is poor management, in the least. There wasn't even a sign or warning when we checked in at the main desk that the Compass would be unavailable for Saturday. We were very disappointed in our visit and feel that Hyatt let us down. You promised us superior dining and, instead, ushered us out the door.

Staff was extremely friendly. Room service was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is down the street from the stadium.
