Pros: nice room layout
Cons: bring back to resort standards
Location: a little out of the way if you want to hang in scottsdale, great place for golfing
not a bad stay but not an exciting one either. we usually stay at a resort in scottsdale, but chose to stay a little out of the way this time. hotel is starting to show its age, just not a head turner. water pressure terrable in shower. housekeeping knocking on the door at 7 am to clean lots of closet space but no hangers in closets.

nice placePosted Nov 17, 2013
Stayed here while golf course was being redone so it was very empty. Room was clean, comfortable, good shower, towels. Breakfast was average- usual fare. We did have to walk up steps to our room, which was not a problem. I dont know if rooms are available without steps. A very nice place, close to a grocery store, eating place.--We did have to drive to them.

Pros: Location, view, staff
Location: Not far from Scottsdale. Go into Fountain hills and see the fountain. Be up for the sunrise one morning, and be back for the sunset one evening.
Very enjoyable, quiet away from city. Great views from mountainside of sunrise and sunset. Highly recommended to be a bit different from standard chain hotel room.

Pros: Clean, quite, fireplace, very 5 star like..........
Cons: Place house numbers out front, and when its time for new maps, count the parking spots and print accordingly
We arrived at night and were given an map of where the room was, the problem was the map was not entirely accurate [close] and the rooms were like town homes surrounding the office, but the addresses were on the back of the houses not visible from the street, when I went back to get better directions the clerk was going to exchange rooms vs give better directions............

Delightful upscale boutique hotelPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Non traditional. Hotel rooms were situated on a hillside in a numerous contemporary buildings, as if we were in a home rather than a hotel.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was closed due to overseeding of the golf course which meant the golf course was closed. Continental breakfast was not great.
Location: Location delightful. 20 minutes from Scottsdale and the activities there. Golf course.
Regretfully we were there one night only. This charmer is set in the Sonoran Desert although the neighborhood is somewhat developed with upscale homes all around including a large golf course. Views were great and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio with our glass of wine. Great ambiance

MOUNTAIN SECLUSIONPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION
Location: SHOPPING / DINING/ CLOSE PRIOMITY TO AIRPORTS (30MINS)
-OFF THE BEATEN PATH, NESTLED IN THE BEGINING OF THE FOUNTAIN HILLS AREA, YOU WILL FIND THIS SMALL INN HAPPILY TUCKED IN TO ITS SURROUNDS. IT IS SO CLOSE TO SCOTTSDALE/EAST VALLEY AREA (IE: SHOPPING/DINING/AIRPORTS) BUT PLEASANTLY 15 MINS AWAY FROM IT ALL. WE WERE SO ENTHRALLED WITH THE AREA WE WENT SEARCHING FOR PROPERTY! THE ROOMS WERE PLEASANT AND STAFF ATTENTIVE. KICK BACK ON THE BALCONY WITH A CUP OF JOE AND WATCH THE MORNING STAR BREAK THROUGH THE FOOTHILLS IN FRONT OF YOU - LIFE IS GOOD.

Nice but cold waterPosted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: Tub was a bit small in length and but had great width - room was nice / microwave / fridge / great views.
Cons: switch to large tank less water heaters
Location: Golf - Sunday Drives - Walking - Hiking - Baseball - Casino
Went to use jetted tub and the water never got hot - (what's the point)
