Room was nicely decorated, clean and roomy. Only problem was a couple light bulbs burned out. Would rent again when we return to the Phoenix area. Beautiful exterior design, truly southwest looking, my favorite. And the setting surrounded by a golf course, very nice!

Almost perfect

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: Nice site, convenient, beautiful views, clean, comfortable.
Cons: Get wi fi for guests.
Location: Convenient to Mayo Clinic and everything that Phoenix has to offer is jwithin a short drive. Beautiful golf course and nice grill.
A very minor problem. We could not find a wi fi network. Other than that everything was perfect.

Pros: Pool, the area
Cons: Someone needs to be in charge of making sure the rooms are maintained and cleaned properly.
Although this is in an upscale area and the area is beautiful the room we were in 252 has been neglected. The porch light was not working, the fireplace did not work, there was a hair in the tub. The most disappointing thing - the tv kept cutting in and out. When I called the front desk I was put through a series of unplug, plug back in, search for the serial number, etc. Then I was told "I" needed a new box. hmm... how did this become "my" cable. Anyways - never was solved. The next day when we checked out I gave the clerk a list of issues and my email address. I have heard absolutely nothing from the hotel. Disappointing.

Noisy, broken air conditioning

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Great location in Fountain Hills
Cons: Air conditioning, internet access and improved amenities!
Location: Golf and casino nearby!
Great location on golf course in Fountain Hills. However limited facilities on site - no restaurant, small pool and no internet service! Unfortunately a broken air conditioning unit made for a sleepless night. I would have asked to change rooms except the hotel was full. Upon check out I informed the front desk staff of my concerns with the air conditioning. They were aware of the broken unit, but when I asked if it was going to be replaced, they said no! I was shocked by the response. My Expedia Elite status was never acknowledged and I feel that we probably had the worst room with broken air conditioning! The only redeeming quality was the helpfulness of the front desk staff who checked us in for our flight and printed the boarding passes because WIFI wasn't available!

Room with a View

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The views, pool area, comfort of room, and jetted tub.
Cons: Information about local restaurants, spa services, and things to do in the area or close by.
Location: Scottsdale is very close and there is a golf course right next to the hotel.
The views of the mountains during the day and the city at night were breath-taking. The property was very quiet which provided for a few days of much needed relaxation.

Beautiful scenery

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean and the scenery was incredible.
Cons: There was a musty odor in the room. May be due for a carpet replacement.
Location: Located in Fountain Hills, AZ. It a short drive from Phoenix and is a beautiful site for an inn. Overlooks the golf course.
Our stay at the Inn at Eagle Mountain was very nice. The room was clean, but had a bit of an odor about it. May be time for a carpet change or something. The pool area was nice, but the hot tub looked like it was due for a good scrub. Overall, though, we enjoyed our 3 night stay. The inn is nestled in behind a mountain and over looks part of the golf course. We played 18 holes and the course was very nice, well kept and beautiful. The staff at the inn, the golf course and the restaurant were all very nice. As long as the price is right, we will more than likely take advantage of the accommodations again in the future.

Pros: The location.
Cons: Could have been cleaner. Carpet was dirty, a dead rat was laying on the patio next to the door, and you had to keep moving the cable box to see t.v.
Location: Close to eating places and shopping.
The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
