Best. Resort. Ever

We were in the Phoenix area for the weekend and loved our stay at the Camelback Inn! The grounds are spectacular, beautiful fountains, flowers and desert landscape to sloth the spirit. The outside lounge area had live music and great atmosphere! Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff all go the extra mile to ensure your stay is what you want. Don't miss the spa.

Hotel never informed me at check-in that they were putting me in a Double Room. I also waited a hour for a bus boy to come help with my luggage and they never came.

Fantastic setting right by camelback mountain. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I loved the live music every night at Rita's restaurant with the casual and laid back atmosphere. Overall a fantastic experience.

Not bad, just not the best

Pros: The scenery! The beautiful landscaping.
Cons: The addition of activities for families to enjoy would be really nice. The Four Seasons has daily activities that embrace the culture and area...
Location: Nothing except for golf is within walking distance... $25.00 cab ride to the mall...
There are some good qualities to the resort: beautiful grounds, charming rooms, bountiful breakfast buffet. The valet staff and cleaning staff do a great job. I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the following: You really have to have a car or be prepared for spending lots of money on cabs. The waitstaff and several of the pool attendants seemed grouchy and their areas seems understaffed at times. The resort didn't have any extra organized activities(you can rent bikes, hike and play tennis) but nothing that was special to Arizona or the resort. There are also no kids activities or kids club.

Beautiful grounds and views in a perfect central location. We ate our first meal at Rita's and only ate one other meal elsewhere. It was that good!
