"Great service"
I booked my hotel online. Either I made a mistake or they booked me the wrong date but the service manager straightened my situation out promptly and at no charge. 5 stars. Great customer service.

"Consistently wonderful"
I've stayed at this Hyatt over 10 times -- I've tried other hotels in the area, but none match up to all of the activities/offerings, the superb staff/service and the beautiful grounds of the Hyatt @ Gainey. The pool is gorgeous, the staff is amazingly accommodating, and it's nice to be a bit removed from the old town Scottsdale scene. I love that they provide free wifi and bikes without hassle. Yes, there is a $25/day hotel charge not included in the rate, but I'd pay it over and over again for this level of service. I highly recommend.

"Very nice hotel."
The hotel was very comfortable, quiet and well maintained. Location was good - close to restaurants, drug store and a Trader Joe's. The pool area was well maintained and never crowded. There were always plenty of pool towels available. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices from hot entrees to healthy foods like yogurt and berries. An added feature was the "happy hour" from 5-7 pm from Mon - Thurs where you could have a snack and a drink for free. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately there was no balcony off of the hotel room so you had to leave the suite to get fresh air. Also, there were no deck chairs outside the rooms. If you wanted to sit outside you had to walk to the pool area to find a chair. I would recommend a few strategically placed deck chairs outside each of the buildings. Overall an excellent place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.

"Spring break getaway!"
Location was excellent -just a stroll to downtown Old Scottsdale. Accomodations &customer service good. Wine tasting everyday btw 5-6p was nice. Wish the pool was a little bigger. There was not as much sunny exposure at the pool-lots of shaded area. There could have been more waiters at the pool.

"Great, trendy hotel close to Chase Field"
The Clarendon Hotel was an excellent experience all around! My husband and I stayed from Sunday-Wednesday and basically had the pool to ourselves every day. The purpose of our stay was to relax and also visit Chase Field. To get there, we walked briefly to the LightRail station, then rode that directly to the field for $4 both ways. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. You pay a $20 per night fee, but that was included in my expedia package, and it covers unlimited wi-fi, sodas, water, other snacks, and covered parking. My only suggestion would be for the housekeeping staff. The day before we left, we received a plain envelope in our room for tip (which I didn't mind leaving. The service was excellent), but the lady wrote on the front of the envelope and spelled things wrong. It just looked a little unprofessional. Other than that, we loved every bit of our stay and will hopefully return again someday!-q

"Super Bowl Friendly Greeting"
We were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff (I wish I could remember her name) She was happy and vibrant. The hoop-la in the bar area was due to the Super Bowl action (Of Seattle) and we quickly checked into our room only to come right back down (2nd floor) to the lounge. Food was excellent and if you are a drinking person-order a Jack and Coke (you don't have to ask for more Jack, they'll do it for ya) $6.00 that is very reasonable during happy hour. Next morning...not powdered eggs, but real. It is a complimentary real breakfast. That is unheard of when most hotels offer free breakfast. Newspapers are at the front desk.

"Somewhat a work in progress, but great progress."
Staff was kind and courteous. Hotel is being beautifully remodeled. Some areas are not perfect yet, but you could tell the staff was all working hard the entire weekend and eventually this hotel will be in great & perfect shape. Pool area was clean and comfortable with lots of lounge chairs and shade. Close to light rail if you need public transportation. Breakfast guy friendly and attentive to guest needs. As well as head housekeeper and front desk. Security at night made me feel even more safe as I was traveling with myself and a baby. Overall great hotel and I can't wait to stay again and see what progress has been made.
