Adequate accomodationsPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The hotel clerk was very nice and the location was convenient to my son's home which is where we were visiting on our trip.
Cons: REMODEL the facility
Location: Easy access to Hwy 17.
The hotel rooms were adequate and have been slightly updated. The bathrooms were in dire need of updating and cleaning. I recommend the hotel upgrade to queen beds instead of doubles. The beds were small and uncomfortable. I did like the beding; however. Pillows and comforter were comfortable. The stairways were absolutely filthy, rusty and in serious need of repair. Additionally, the rooms were airy (i.e. every outside smokers' smoke wafted into the rooms, which made it unpleasant.

Stay only if necessary.Posted Apr 1, 2014
I thought that the breakfast buffet was lacking considerably. It would have been nice to have some hot breakfast items as well as some fresh cut fruit. Breakfast buffet was really mediocre. The linens such as towels, washcloths, and pillows seemed to be worn out pretty much.

Weekend GetawayPosted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: The staff and lay out of the hotel.
Cons: The carpets in the rooms.
Location: The location is right near the freeway but still quiet. You just have to know where you want to go and hop on the freeway.
This hotel is where we stay when we go to Phoenix. It's affordable, right off the freeway and family oriented. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are clean. You can't beat the breakfasts in the morning. But the rooms are getting dated, the carpets need to be changed soon. The Hotel grounds as a whole is nice but the sidewalks are really dirty and making the hotel look run down. The hotel kind of reminds me of an older hotel in Vegas that needs up-dating. But as a whole we will stay again but will watch how the hotel is being kept.

Low grade!Posted Mar 21, 2014
Only thing good about this hotel is Location! Just a block away from numerous restaurants and entertainment . Beds are small and hard, pool is small. The door to our room would not open , we were stuck several times, maintence said they are working on all rooms for that problem. There are better hotels in that area. We had booked for 4 days , we left the next morning to a better hotel.

Pros: The beds and the breakfast.
The beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming and the breakfast was awesome.
Close to freewayPosted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Close to freeway.
Cons: Cleanliness and items in room such as tissues and soap
Location: Not a lot to choose from.
Expected this room to be much cleaner and nicer. Went down for coffee a little before 9 a.m. and they had already started taking all the breakfast items away. Not even a tissue box in the room. I truly expected a lot more from La Quinta. We would not stay here again. Take some time and look for a nicer hotel.

Pros: I liked the family atmosphere.
Cons: All was good for me and my family.
Location: We were at La Quinta on Greenway in Phoenix. We were located close to the highway and close to everything.
Staying at this hotel was like being home. I would recommend it highly.
