Nice place, good rates

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: It was a quiet location near residential areas that was good for morning walks. The pool and spa were nice. Our overall experience was pleasant.
Cons: The water pipes from the adjacent rooms were very noisy. Sometimes it would wake you during the night. The exterior of the building needs repairs!
Location: We were visiting family in Anthem, AZ. It was a short commute and easy freeway access.
Our room was very nice. The exterior of the facility was in need of a lot of work! Some repairs were in process during our stay. Overall, we were pleased with our experience.

If there's no where else to stay

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: It had a hot tub
Cons: Everything. Beds, pillows, plumbing, decorations, amenities in the rooms, wifi connectivity, sound proofing.
Location: phoenix
After being gouged for the Superbowl weekend, it's difficult to find anything positive to say. Room costs normally under $100, for Superbowl over $300 but I certainly did not receive anything additional for the money. The whole hotel hasn't been updated in probably 30 years. The rooms have nothing but a TV and a coffee maker that makes, at best, half a cup of coffee. Towels are of the lowest quality, pillows are foam cubes, tubs don't drain, walls made of paper, Wifi is sketchy at best. If there is no where else to stay in Phoenix then I guess this is better than your car. Will never stay in this chain of hotels again.

Just O.K.

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Location wasn't bad.
Cons: No smoking rooms!
Location: In driving distance of many good areas.
Our room upon arrival smelled very strongly of cleaning agents and when that smell left, it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and on our last evening, smelled of marijuana from the room next our ours that had the adjoining door. Not a very good experience.

The staff at this motel was very good. They responded quickly and positively to all requests and questions. I refer to this establishment as a motel, as that is clearly what it is. All room doors are on the outside, not what I was expecting when I booked the room. Rates were inflated, due to the Super Bowl, and a major golf tournament in town. Room and bed were comfortable, but very basic. Not the cleanest room I've been in, with mold and cobwebs in the bathroom.

Very nice staff and overall a good experience. All that was left were double beds which I would not recommend, way too small.

About what you'd expect

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: Too noisy, and toilet could have been better cleaned.
Location: Not much to do nearby. 25 minutes to Scottsdale
Stayed here over Super Bowl weekend, and rates were really jacked up. The hotel doesn't merit a $300+ per night tab. Rooms were ok, but one could here the noise outside very clearly. Hotel is also not that well located. Bottom line: so so.

Good stay in older motel

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Staff was incredibly nice and tried to get whatever it was we needed.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated - very 80's with some more contemporary decor.
Location: Location is a bit noisy in the front. In the immediate area many restaurants and bars closed at 9 or 10pm and you do need a car to get to them.
Staff was great, very pleasant and accommodating and willing to please. Stayed for Super Bowl 2015 weekend. Rooms are exterior entry meaning you can hear street noise if staying in the front building. Rooms are dated but beds comfortable and rooms were very clean.
