When weather caused airline difficulties & a missed connection in Phoenix, I was very grateful for room availability at La Quinta. The hotel shuttle picked me up at the airport, a great convenience! The La Quinta shuttle starts trips back to the airport at 5 AM for early airline departures, another great convenience. With the early departure, breakfast was missed, but I was grateful the desk person put out apples and tea to take with me.

The hotel was very good. Frank, the overnight front desk person was courteous and helpful. I would definitly stay here again on my way to Flagstaff, Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

Pros: Short trip to airport
Cons: Breakfast was the least I have seen for a Us hotel with included breakfast. Coffee was terrible.
Location: Denny's next door
The hotel is showing some age. Have to walk out doors to rooms which can't be comfortable in july or august.

Cons: Quality control within the maintenance department.
After a late arrival, we had many flying gnats in the room, and the AC couldn't get the temperature below 80. Had to move to another room. Have stayed at many La Quintas....this was the worst.

the Staff were the best part of the stay. Room was just ok. Very noisy. Pool was a little neglected but it was warm and very much appreciated. Free shuttle from the airport is what attracted us to the propery and all worked well there. We used this a stop over until our rental car was ready. There's coffe and a nice breakfast in the morning too.

Pros: Proximity to airport, it was quiet, comfortable and safe.
Room was newly renovated, or at least appeared that way. Bed was comfortable. TV, lamps, and other amenities all worked. The window opened. The AC was quiet and did an excellent job of keeping the place cool. The room was clean. Denny's is right next door, but it was closed for renovations, so front desk staff arranged for ride to alternate restaurant. Perfect.

I used to stay at this hotel a few years ago. It has fallen into disrepair. The sidewalks were filthy. Walking barefoot back from the pool made our feet black. The Denny's next door was closed but no one bothered to tell us, so we were stuck without a car and with out a place to eat dinner. I will never stay ther again.

Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Location: SPRING TRAINING.
GOT TO THE MOTEL, AND IT WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED AT ALL. ONE ROOM HAD AN ODOR OF EXTRIMENT (POOP) AND THE OTHER SMELLED LIKE A MILLION CIGARETTES HAD JUST BEEN SMOKED IN THE ROOM, NO JOKE. SO, WE IMMEDIATELY CHECKED OUT AND GOT A ROOM AT A MARRIOT, WHICH WAS LOVELY. HOPING TO GET REIMBURSED ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE ROOMS WE HAD BOOKED AT LA QUINTA. HOPE EXPEDIA DOESN'T GIVE MY A HARD TIME ABOUT IT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WOULD NEVER, EVER, RECOMMEND LA QUINTA. WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN IN.
