“Relaxing place”
We stayed at this resort only one night. Everything clean and pretty!
“Hesitations”
This was our 7th or 8th stay at the Legacy -- obviously we have enjoyed it through the years. My biggest complaint, and one that may well keep us from staying here again in the future, is that they have begun to nickel and dime their guests. Things that were just part of the service in the past will now cost more. We have asked for and received late check out (1 hour) every year we've stayed there -- this year it cost $10 and hour. We've stayed in a golf course view room every year for no upcharge -- this year it was a $10 a day upcharge. These petty charges, plus the fact that they've never even acknowledged our repeat business (not even a "welcome back") has left a bad taste in our mouth. In an age when loyalty is acknowleged and rewarded (at grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.) it is bothersome to us that there is no recognition whatsoever that we are repeat customers. This has made us feel unappreciated and, with the additional charges which feel very petty (raise your prices if you need the money!) we will be looking for a different place to stay in the future.
“Very relaxing”
I enjoyed my stay.
“comfy & nice”
I only stayed for one night and found it very comfortable. I'm not a golfer, but the room was great.
“Great place to stay!”
Great place to stay, friendly staff, convenience to many stores, freeways, shopping. and restaurants. Would be great if hotel offered more pool activities, e.g., water volley ball, basketball, outdoor barbeques in the evenings at the pool, the happy hour could be offered at the pool, separate pool for guests with children or an "adult" only pool.
“nice but wish the toilet worked and golf course wasnt undergoing maintenance”
Hotel was nice grounds were well kept and it was a great value for your money. However, the toilet in our room never worked properly even after having the resorts maintenance crew in approximately 5 times to fix it. They never could and didnt offer us a new room until 1030 on my last night at which time my 5 month old boy was finally asleep and I wasn't waking him to change rooms for 12 hours until checkout. Golf course greens were punched 3 days prior to my check in and this wasnt discussed at check in. Restaurant was called that as an overstatement. Only grill at golf course with limited menu.
“Great Golf Resort”
This is my 8th trip to the legacy and have never been dissapointed. The staff has always been professional and helpful and the facilities very clean and accomodating. The course is one of my favorite in the Phoenix area.
“Nice hotel with mountain views.”
Nice place but pool was not heated. It was very cold and the reason we went on the trip was to swim and relax....the hotel room was nice though.
“legacy golf resort”
Great deal for the price. Good accomdation.
“mostly great”
Was as advertised. Course is very good challenge and in great condition; pool area good. Room was nice- very clean and comfortable and well provideed. However, sofa bed which we needed to use for our 14-yo son to give both him and ourselves privacy was TERRIBLE. We ended up taking turns sleeping on the lousy bed, planning on a bad night of sleep. Location great. I would go back in consideration of overall positives for the price, but would have to be assurred that sofa bed could actually be used or woudl make sure I avoided its use..
