“Not impressed”

The photos for this hotel looked very nice. However, it wasn't even close to the pictures. Most of the first floor was missing carpet & looked like there had been severe water damage. The front desk person when we checked in didn't tell us where the parking lot was or what time check out was. He gave us the keys & said there was contintental breakfast until 10 a.m. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were awful. The room they put us in was extremely noisy. There is a Marriott a few blocks away. If we ever go back, we'll stay there.

“Hotel in transition”

The Lexington Hotel seems to be stuck in a transition mode, unable to decide if it wants to be a low end facility or a modern upgraded hotel. A room refrigerator, new TVs, maybe some wall decor would go along way to avoid the downtown Stalingrad feel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and seems to be doing the best they can with what they have to work with.The downtown area immediately around this hotel is limited for restaurants in walking distance, but the light rail has a stop just north of the front entrance.Excellent location for downtown business access on a budget.

“3-Day”

Location was good but it specified complimentary airport shuttle. They did not have airport shuttle so I had to take a taxi...very expensive when leaving the airport and going downtown

We stayed there because it was close to our concert, had no problems, employees treated us great.

“Great hotel for the price.”

Staff was very warm and friendly; they made us feel at home from the time we checked in. The hotel itself can use a little upgrading, although it was fairly comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was not up to par as we ran out of orange juice and danish about 2 hours before it was supposed to close and guests were still coming in. Also, we asked for wake up call on 2 days and both days there was no call.

“My wife would not stay there”

It should be clearly noted that this hotel is going to be closed in the near future for renovation. The place has had a dime put into it for years, extremely dated. Staff does the best they can in a bad situation.

“Our home away from home”

The staff is wonderful... very accomodating to making sure ALL your request are met! The hotel is perfectly located to where we were going. A decent variety of breakfast items, including make your own waffles. Hot tea and coffee available 24/7. We found the perfect hotel... with rates so reasonable this is definitely "OUR GETAWAY"

“Preparing for Renovation”

This hotel is under new management and preparing for renovation. By the looks of it, it seems like renovation is taking places with exposed ceilings and an industrial feel. I've stayed here in the past and this hotel is in need of a renovation. I'll make other hotel accomodations until this is completed. For the benefit of the guest and staff, start renovation soon!

Area recommendations

Scottsdale...much nicer.
