“Great luxury hotel in the desert”

Very nice resort hotel in the desert. Grounds and pool area are well maintained and the view of camelback mountain from the resort is remarkable. One minor disappointment was the lack of walk able attractions nearby. Driving is required to go to shops or restaurants. Overall a very nice, if expensive resort.

“Loved It!”

The staff was great - they all looked like they enjoyed working there. The fire pits were awesome and the grounds were beautiful. The room was spotless and very spacious. Looking forward to a return trip.

“Montelucia or bust.”

This is our 3rd stay at the Montelucia.. Our first stay was not long after they had opened their doors. We throughly enjoy our time there, every time. The Joya spa is amazing also.

“Montelucia defines luxury and service”

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. The rooms around the Oasis pool are the best if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

“Better than the Princess!”

Staff and service was very good. Location to Scottsdale and everywhere we wanted to go was perfect. Stayed a week with family and would love to stay at the property again. To get the most out of your stay reserve a room in building number 5 second floor mountain view. The view is lovely and the rooms are quiet. Only complaints I witnessed was the walk from the garage to the rooms. Not bad for me since i enjoy a little stroll. If you have problems with walking the staff at the entrance to the hotel will be happy to help you and luggage to the room anytime. Park your car yourself will save you some money. Food is good in the main restaurant, but venture out to eat because there are tons of great places to eat within 10 to 20 minute drives. Relax and have fun.

“Excellent resort for all”

The Montelucia resort is hands down one of the best resorts I have stayed at. With my Expedia VIP Access the hotel immediately upgraded us to a beautiful suite over looking the oasis pool. The bellmen have secret agent ear pieces so when you come out of the check in reception area they already know your name and the room they will be taking you to in the golf cart. The resort is 35 acres and well kept. Our room was absolutely beautiful, the staff was by far the best that I have encountered in my travels. We originally booked one night but after the incredable service we stayed another night. This resort is right in my own back yard and will be back for my birthday in September. The breakfast buffet a Prado's is excellent.

“Easy, Comfortable Stay!”

Totally relaxing experience. The hotel is clean and quiet. Plenty of pool access, comfortable room. The food was good, not great. And definitely overpriced. Best value is Breakfast at Prado. We ended up driving into Old Town Scottsdale for most meals, which is not only easy, but gives you a lot of different and delicious choices. Would definitely stay here again, or recommend to friends and family!

“Its the best!!!”

Got a great price on Expedia. When we got there we were upgraded to what I would think was the best room in the house..Exception of the presidential suite. Our room overlooked the pool area and had an unobstructed view of the camelback mountain. It was my wifes birthday and we had a bottle of complimentary wine and cheese waiting in our room. The restaurant and bar were first class. Not cheap but reasonable for a hotel of that caliper.Sevice was unbelievable. It has a very charming intimate feeling about the hotel. If you want big and hotel feeling, this isnt it.If you want first class and intimant, then it is.Five minute drive to many restaurants.ten minutes to Old town.Incredable view.Fifteen minutes from Skyharbor airport. The perfect getaway.
