Pros: Good location.
Cons: New mattress, new manager for the restaurant for breakfast and lunch.
The restaurant had terrible service and the waiter was rude. The mattress was very old and had dents in it.

Ncie hotel close to recreation, shopping and resta

Location: Found the location great to get around Scottsdale. Close to golf, restaurants and shopping
Really enjoyed our stay at Omni. Rooms felt more like casitas than rooms. Really enjoyed having an outside private patio and the updated baths.

Cons: Not a thing....it was all wonderful.
Location: Walkable distance to Camelback Mountain. Beautiful resort and surrounding area.
I was really tired upon arrival and the staff graciously took me and my belongings to my room via a cart where I was able to relax for a bit and enjoy the pool view before enjoying the spa. To my surprise the spa was offering a happy hour through the afternoon hours which I was able to take advantage of. I had a massage which was great and I would gladly do again for full price. Afterward you can take advantage of the other features of the spa such as the steam room, sauna, spa and relaxation room for additional pampering. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. At night when the fountain lights are on and the fires are lit....mesmerizing! I sat for over an hour along with some other guests quietly enjoying the sound of the water and warmth of the fire in the cozy rocking chairs....perfection!!

Wonderful service, not one bad encounter w/ staff! Beautiful resort, clean and well maintained. Spa was amazing, the spa pool is a must. Will go back! Was a little pricey for meals, add ons - but given the service we were ok paying it. Really enjoyed our trip here!

Walk to Camelback Mountain

Posted Jan 4, 2015
We stayed overnight at the end of our trip to AZ. The hotel is on the corner of Lincoln and Tatum in PV. It consists of 16 distinct buildings spread out over the property. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but grabbed breakfast at the Crave Cafe. It has coffee, fruit, muffins, bagels, etc. The hotel is walking distance to Camelback Mountain, and we took advantage of the proximity to take an early morning hike before our flight. Sky Harbor airport is 15 - 20 minutes away. Wish we had stayed another night. The service and staff weRe first class.

Beautiful Views

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: The view and setting are spectacular. Having several restaurants on site was also very nice.
Cons: A game room or library would be most useful during cold weather and odd hours. It's hard to find the parking lot entrance at night.
Location: We found the location excellent. With just short drives, we hiked Camelback, shopped Kierland Commons, and went to an iPic movie.
The experience was excellent overall. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We ate at Prado, Centro, and Crave a number of times and the food was quite good. The weather, unfortunately, was unusually cold for Scottsdale, with morning frost on several days and highs in the 40's and 50's. It made the pools unusable, and we would have appreciated some other diversions.
