“Orange Tree Resort”
I have stayed in phoenix-scottsdale at over a dozen resorts and for the money the Orange Tree cant be beat,. The bedroom and bathroom are big w/ big jetted tub. The living room-kitchen area are also very nice, The pool is not the biggest but the resort also has a nice golf course...The rates are always very inexpensive and its a tremendous value. Better than many higher priced hotels i stayed at
“Looking forward to staying there again.”
This is a fabulous place to stay. It has everything you need for a great stay. We want to stay there again next year for a longer period of time. One week was not enough - we'll need at least two - maybe three!
“Orange Tree is Not for Business Traveller”
Orange Tree has had a new coat of paint, the rooms are clean & comfortable but if you are looking for an accommodating, responsive service as a business traveler then you may be disappointed. Despite my request I was allocated a room far from the car park which meant reliance on a call out to the Porter to send the golf cart for transportation which took 20 min and seemed to be asking too much of a non morning person. I also had the miss fortune of asking Housekeeping for a razor in the morning which despite 4 repeated calls and their acknowledgments still did not arrive 30 to 40 minutes later. Needless to say I abandoned the shave and also got to my office late and extremely disappointed with the Orange Tree service and stay.
“Huge rooms”
Great place but just reopening and no onsite food until the restaurants are back up and running. Too far to walk to any other places.
“Very large impressive suite”
The suite was very large very impressive, quite and very clean
“good value - nice room”
Check in was strange as it is a small office and not fitting with the large scale of the hotel. Room was very large with separate bedroom, clean and well appointed. More than I expected for the price. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I was told it had new owners and they were redoing the real lobby. Where I checked in had a collage feel and I was concerned although everyone was very helpful.
“Great Hotel”
The room was great, the jacuzzi was awesome! Staff was helpful and friendly. I will be back
“Better than a hotel”
This is not a hotel. It is a Shell Vacation resort. I moved from an Embassy Suites to here because it was $30 cheaper and a much nicer room. I travel 40 weeks out of the year and this is one of the nicest units I've stayed in while traveling for work. Wonderful bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower. Bedroom was in a separate room with double doors you could close. Seating in the living area could have benefited by another chair. Kitchen was a little sparce but I didn't choose it for that reason. Full size fridge but only a microwave.
“Pleasant Stay”
Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. I usually stay at luxury hotels and I was as satisfied with this hotel as any I have been recently.
