“Really Fun! Rooms are nice, not super”
The hotel was really fun! We went in December so we didn't swim but it was beautifully decorated with holidays lights and the restaurants were yummy and beautiful! I would love to go back again. Only down side the rooms were older and not too nice. They are ok, maybe a 6 out of 10. We were upgraded to a suite and it was a big room but a bit outdated if you ask me. Overall I was satisfied and would go back!
“Excellent place to take the kids”
We've stayed at this hotel resort several times now. The recent remodel is a big improvement. The staff is very helpful. The kids love the pools. Each area has its own hotel pool as well as the resort pool. The prices for food at the resort are outrageous, especially in-suite dining. The gym is top-notch for a hotel. My major beef is the name. Squaw is an offensive term, much like naming your resort Mammy hotel. Get with the times, Hilton, and re-name your hotel!
“Really enjoyed ourselves”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Point Hilton Resort. Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Great layout of the room (we traveled with small children and the suite was fabulous). The meals were excellent, especially the buffet breakfast. Only complaint was the pool temperature - too cool to go swimming on an 80+ degree temperature day! Plenty of family-fun for everyone. Will definitely return in the future.
“Would stay here again”
Nice room (King Studio) with VERY comfortable bed. Staff was very responsive.
“Not Impressed”
I have been staying at the Squaw Peak resort for business for the past 8 months. I travel there at least 3 weeks out of the month. Each time I check-in they don't have my Hilton Honors number on file because I book through Expedia. The last time I visited I was provided a studio room which is not what I normally have. I expressed a desire to move and was told I couldn't because that's not what Expedia had offered. I offered to pay the difference but they were sold out. I'm disappointed in both Expedia and Hilton and will be seeking new travel arrangements and accomodations. One would think that after so many visits, someone at the reception would remember me. One would also think that Expedia should be able to link reward programs outside of the airlines.
“Nice resort bad service”
Had to wait an hour and a half for my room. Arrived at 3:45 didn't get room till 5:30. Watermark and hotel itself were nice. Front desk horrible.
“awesome choice”
We had two nights to stay in Phoenix(me and my 12 year old son)on our way to the Grand Canyon. I figured a hotel with a water facility would be a good idea. This was an awesome choice! The front desk was friendly and the bellman, David, was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The waterpark was reallly fun and the food was great.
“Great after upgrade”
Initially we paid for upgrade to room, but had to wait 4 nights to get the upgrade. Staff were all WONDERFUL!!! Will go back!
“Nice getaway for all.”
Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak seemed to have something for everyone. The main pool area had water volleyball and basketball plus a relaxing lazy river. Three of us went for an overnight getaway and a little peace, so there were too many kids and too much going on at the main pool area for us. No worries though. The fitness center on property had a nice, adult only pool area where we spent most of our time. The restaurant that we went to, Rico's, had a nice atmosphere and great service, but the food was average and well overpriced. Plenty of places off premises to go eat. Overall we had a great time though and we really enjoyed the service, fitness center and adult pool.
“Good value”
Nice location and well kept. I was traveling for business, but would have been a good location for kids.
