Two nights at Tapatio

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: See above
Location: Not too far from downtown Phoenix
Hotel location was at a private and quiet location of town. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was ok. I was not happy that even though the hotel was half empty, they gave me a room by the noisy water pumps.

Very nice Hotel in a Beautiful Sedona setting.

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Described above, but location, setting, friendly staff and dinning.
Cons: The rooms were nice and comfortable, but bath incidentals could be better.
Location: The town is quaint with good restaurants and quality southwestern shopping available. The Chapel, Art Gallery's and red rock monument viewing is best
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in beautiful Sedona. You feel like you are in an expansive art gallery of beautiful hand carved monuments. The hotel is located in the center of town, but you have the feeling you might be out of town in a quiet southwestern setting. The hotel lobby is wonderful example of modern southwester architecture. . .artistic, warm and inviting. The food in the restraint is mostly organic, healthy and delicious.

Do yourself a favor stay elsewhere....

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: They should start with cleanliness. Entire hotel needs to be updated to rid the rooms of the smell and 1980's decor.
This hotel is downright awful. We switched rooms when we first arrived. Neither phone worked, the shower was broken and the room was filthy. It appeared the toilet had not been cleaned since the last occupant of the room left or perhaps the last five. The carpets were stained as well as the comforter. The second room was just as filthy and smelled musty. It is very outdated decor which I would have been able to accept had the rooms not been so deplorable.

Our Favorite Place to Stay

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Cons: We wish the Cantina Grill was open. It was closed on our last two visits. It's nice to have an informal and casual restaurant on the property.
Whenever we travel to Phoenix, which is about once or twice a year, we always stay at Pointe Hilton. It's not in the heart of the city, but that's what we like. Although the complex is beginning to show its age, the rooms are always clean and the staff are always polite and responsive.

Desert Oasis

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Pools and water features are great.
Cons: The property is a little tired and needs some sprucing up.
Location: If you have a mountain bike and its not in the middle of the summer you can ride right from the hotel.
Very enjoyable with lots of desert greenery in mountainous setting. Lots of elevation change and wonderful non- city views in the middle of the Phoenix metropolis. Hiking trails make you feel like you are out in the desert. Golf course challenging but beautiful. Convenient to N. Phoenix.

Wonderful long weekend getaway.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Everything. Staff, pools, spa, hiking trails, restaurants.
Location: We loved the resort so never even left.
We came for a long weekend to get away from the cold. We didn't even rent a car because everything we needed was on site. Great place to relax (multiple pools and spa) or be active (golf, tennis, hiking). We did it all. Dining was excellent as well!
