Football game reunion

Posted Nov 12, 2014
We stayed at this hotel for a week for a football weekend reunion. The staff during the week were outstanding, very eager to please and very friendly. The morning person on the weekend appeared to be overworked. She was manning the desk and maintaining the breakfast bar, difficult at best. She probably could have used some help. The afternoon weekend person seemed to do fine. Breakfast was good, but predictable. Cereals, toast, scrambled eggs and sausage, or waffles. Juice and coffee. We used their computer to print boarding passes and make reservations for local activities. No problem. This is a no-smoking facility, but our room appeared to have been smoked in recently and spray applied. Not unbearable, but not convenient. Our friends did not have this problem in other rooms. Luck of the draw, I guess. We were able to walk to light rail (about 1/2 mile) or to Sun-Devil Stadium (about 1 mile). Uber was great for transportation the rest of the time. Never waited more than 5 minutes for service. We also toured Taleisin West, Frank Lloyd Wrights western home, and visited the MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) which is outstanding and needs several hours to tour in depth.

Most friendly hotel staff I have ever encountered.

Posted Oct 30, 2014
I have never met a more friendly and helpful hotel manager. I was there for an interview. The manager arranged for a ride to the interview for me, held my suitcase, and asked me about the interview when I returned. My room was better than expected for the price range. It was clean and comfortable. My only complaints would be my room was right by the road and the carpet was a little old. I would get rid of any carpeting in a hotel if I was a hotel manager. You really cannot keep them looking nice. That being said, it was the nicest room I've ever stayed in at that price range. It was a great location, and I couldn't have asked for better staff. Highly recommended!

Decent rooms a little musty smell the first night. Breakfast not the greatest but a good value for the price

Missed breakfast as it closed at 0900. We did not notice the hours. Having a free breakfast was one of the primary reasons that we stayed in this hotel.

OK Hotel close to ASU.

Pros: The room and the staff were first rate. And the complimentary airport shuttle was a plus.
Cons: Keep breakfast fresh and stacked for all guests.
Location: Location is close to Arizona State University for parents visiting their children. Nice restaurants nearby. And Phonix and Scottsdale are nearby.
Room and Staff were exellent. Free Breakfast was not much to write about. When I arrived at 9 AM most of breakfast was gone, and not replenished.
